Pelassa
About the Winery
Located in Montà d'Alba, Piedmont, Pelassa is a family-owned vineyard with deep roots in winemaking, officially founded in 1950. The story began when a young Mario Pelassa, just 10 years old, took his bike and rode 43 kilometers to Turin, determined to sell his family's Nebbiolo. From those humble beginnings, Pelassa has evolved into a prestigious winery now managed by Mario’s sons, Daniele and Davide. With a commitment to quality and tradition, the winery has earned international recognition, including an impressive 95 points from renowned critic Robert Parker, solidifying its place among the finest producers in the region.
