Rocca delle Macìe is a historic winery located in the heart of the Chianti Classico region in Tuscany. Founded in 1973 by Italo Zingarelli, the estate was born from a deep passion for this land and a vision to create a family legacy rooted in wine and tradition.

The winery began with the purchase of Tenuta Le Macìe in Castellina in Chianti, a place of extraordinary beauty defined by rolling hills, forests, and Mediterranean vegetation. Over the years, the project has grown significantly and today spans around 500 hectares, including over 200 hectares of vineyards across six estates in Tuscany.

Still family-run, Rocca delle Macìe is now led by the second and third generations of the Zingarelli family, combining tradition with innovation. The estate is guided by strong values: respect for the land, people, and environment, along with a forward-looking approach that integrates sustainability, hospitality, and modern viticulture.

Rocca delle Macìe produces a wide range of wines that express the identity and heritage of the Chianti Classico territory.
