Since 2010 Valentina and Luca's life has changed: passing through work in Tuscany in the divine Bolgheri the spark was lit. Property for sale and the desire to lay the foundations to build a future in this magical place that has enchanted them. This is where the story of the Tenuta Campo al Signore winery begins, of which they are proudly the owners.
Tenuta Campo al Signore is their dream, their life project. The idea of combining tradition with innovation, of being able to maintain the roots of this "wine" territory by making improvements and new ideas, is the challenge of today and for the future. And if innovation is undoubtedly an important element, sustainability is an indispensable factor.
The entire estate covers 10 hectares, where the perfect nature of this area meets the passions of Valentina and Luca. The estate's vineyards are divided into 4 plots, all named after an Italian brand of machines. Valentina and Luca, great enthusiasts and collectors, wanted to combine their two great passions: the world of cars and the wine of Bolgheri.
Tenuta Campo al Signore produces three organic labels from the 2022 harvest, reflecting the estate's deep respect for its territory: Rosato DOC Bolgheri, Volante DOC Bolgheri, and Campo al Signore DOC Bolgheri Superiore. These wines showcase the elegance and winemaking vocation of Bolgheri.
The estate is also the first in Bolgheri to participate in a sea aging project for bottles of Rosato DOC and Rosso DOC, conducted at a depth of 50 meters in the marine protected area of Portofino. This experimental project is a collaboration with Jamin and the University of Agriculture of Florence, aligning with the estate’s commitment to innovation and research.
In addition, Tenuta Campo al Signore produces Oilò, an organic Tuscan IGP extra virgin olive oil, made from olives grown on 1500 trees, some of which are over 250 years old, spread across 5 hectares.
