Amazing Experience at Tenuta San Beda

We had an amazing experience at Tenuta San Beda, that we will remember for a long time. David and Francesca were the perfect hosts, making us feel more like friends than paying guests. The wines and accompanying food were delicious, made more so by David's indepth knowledge of grape growing and wine production. We highly recommend a visit to Tenuta San Beda. You won't regret it!

Heel vriendelijke mensen die goede uitleg gaven over de wijn, view was prachtig. De hapjes erbij maakten het helemaal gezellig. En uiteraard, super lekkere wijn! Ideale activiteit om met vrienden te doen

About Winery and Wines

Tenuta San Beda is a small family-run winery in the Lucca countryside, near the historic village of Montecarlo. The passion for this territory has guided the progressive recovery and replanting of vineyards covering approximately 5 hectares at 50 meters above sea level. Our manager David personally takes care of the wine from the plant to the processing in the cellar. Oenologist, winemaker, cellarman and much more, he follows his vineyards with great passion, every day, following the rhythms of nature.

The production philosophy of Tenuta San Beda is centered on the territory in which the wine takes shape, an expression of the terroir and the microclimate but above all an expression of man's work and passion. The small size of the vineyard has made it possible to treat the product with the care reserved for a child, dedicating the utmost attention to each choice. we produce a series of red wines starting from sangiovese, merlot, syrah, petit verdot and malvasia. we also have a particular white wine based on viognier. Recently our production has been enriched with an excellent sangiovese brandy.
