Amazing winery near the volcanic mountain of Etna. Offers a spectacular tour of the estate and it's history, the only part more impressive then the tour was the wine. Truly one of the best wineries I've had the pleasure of visiting.

About Winery and Wines

The story of Terra Costantino began on Etna fifty years ago, when the family started to produce wine in the small palmento - a building that in ancient times was used for winemaking - without the aid of machinery but only with passionate manual work. The palmento in the vineyard dates back to the 18th century and deserves a special historical and architectural value: The family has decided to preserve it intact, integrated as it is with the typical system of Etna's vineyards and wine presses. Today Terra Costantino presents itself as a contemporary company, characterised by ancient values, love for the land and full respect for its time. respect for its times.

The company's aim has always been to protect local biodiversity and improve and improve its performance. In the 1990s they were the first to take on the challenge of organic farming on Etna and obtain certification. With this in mind, they decided to maintain the historical saplings and planted the vines on the characteristic terraces that here, at an altitude of about 450 metres, have the Volcano behind them. at an altitude of about 450 metres, with the Volcano behind them and always looking towards the Mediterranean Sea.
