About Winery and Wines

We are located in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, precisely in San Pietro In Cariano, a little town that closes to the south the oldest and most suitable area of Valpolicella Classica. In the hamlet of Pedemonte, in the center of the village, there is Villa Crine, a historic setting dating back to 1800 and a precious residence of the Venturini's family. The villa, now winery headquarter, hosts events, wine tasting and celebrations.
Entirely family-run and strongly linked to the territory and its enhancement, Villa Crine is now guided by the wise hands of Giovanni Battista and his family. Each phase of the production process is personally carried out with care and attention; from pruning, to the working of the land, from harvesting to marketing and sale. The company strives with perseverance to combine the ancient knowledge learned from ancestors with the innovations of the present.

We produce the typical wines DOC and DOCG of Valpolicella from 3 types of native grapes: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. 
Then we also produce some IGT wines with peculiar characteristics. The ancient and traditional drying technique of grapes is what distinguishes our wines. Taught to us by our ancestors, the practice of grapes drying in wooden boxes or on arele tables gives wines peculiar and distinguishable characteristics.
