One of the best tours we have taken. Nunzia and her family welcomed us to their home and treated us like family. They were kind enough to offer their own jackets and boots. The truffle hunting with the dogs, Sangio and Julie, was a once in a lifetime experience. We were lucky to find so many truffles on such a beautiful day. Those truffles were used for an amazing four course meal. The chef even made a special meal for some of vegetarian guests. Highly recommend, this once in a lifetime opportunity. You would be missing out if you skipped it.

Absolutely brilliant tour. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Would have liked to have spent a. It more time in the vineyard learning about the viticulture but understand that due to rain it was difficult. Amazing tasting and food. Felt totally indulgent and great to try different wines. What a view! I’d love to come back and stay in the hotel. Only gripe is how difficult it is to get a taxi back to town. The staff were helpful but due to location it takes a long time. In future I would consider the bus!

From the moment you arrive it is clear that this is no ordinary wine-tasting tour. Rafael welcomes you to the family home with open arms and a smile. He takes you for a brief stroll around the vineyards and gives both a history of the company and some great insights into the growing and production processes. At no point does it feel like scripted patter, and his passion is evident. Then back into the family home, where you are provided with great food and a fun tasting experience which feels like you're with a close personal friend. Rafael offers great insights into food and wine pairings and isn't at all technical or condescending. You'll come away feeling like you'll always be welcome back, and there is no hard-sell of the produce. The wines themselves are of really high quality, and have been added my import list!.. The tastings at other quintas felt more sterile in comparison. This is not a place to miss!!

When you are greeted by the owner and made to feel as one of the family, you know you have found the right place to tour. The vineyard is gorgeous! The Wine cellar outstanding. The wine is some of the best I have ever had. We had a group of 10 and had a fabulous time. We stayed for dinner and it did not disappoint. The food, service and the Wine were a true delight to all tastes and sensations. Please do take the time to visit Borgo Casa AL Vento and tell Francisco hello! Thank you Francisco for your hospitality, we will return. We are so excited to receive our shipment of the amazing wine and some of the best olive oil we have ever tasted. Gratzi
