The transportation was awful. We would have been better off ordering an Uber. The driver was 30 minutes late, his car was dirty, didn't speak very good english, was an aggressive driver, did not feel like a VIP experience at all. The actual experience at the wineries was great but because of the stress of the transportation part I cannot recommend this service. We have done many of these throughout Italy and other parts of Europe for a similar price point and this was horrible by comparison.

My girlfriend and I visited for an evening wine tasting and had a wonderful time. Only two of us turned up, so we ended up with a private tour by happy accident. What a stroke of luck. The whole experience was extremely informative. Marco made the evening fantastic. He is genuinely funny and switches between several languages with ease (we booked the tour in English and surprised us when he started speaking fluent German). He clearly knows his wines and he explains everything in a way that keeps you engaged from start to finish. We chose the €45 option, which comes with snacks, and the food was brilliant. We asked for a few more cheese options and he accommodated us happily, no fuss at all. We can't recommend it enough. Five stars, and we would absolutely do it again. Grazie anchora, Marco!

Amazing wine tour and tasting. If you're in Porto, you do not want to miss this family's wine house. Especially as they have an excellent selection of dry wines (so not port, although of course they also make port). Everything is still operated locally, by the family. You get to see the wine making spaces, the cellars, the history of the Almeida family and of course you get te try their amazing wines. These wines are the best way to get to know the Douro wines, great blends with traditional local grapes. Furthermore the friendliness of Tiago was something that made the experience even better. He even invited us to come watch the botteling process, which was taking place the day after we visited. Please, also don't forget to try the almonds, olives and olive oil, and enjoy!
