Recommended experience!

A truly beautiful and interesting tasting and winery tour, made even more pleasant by how accommodating they were, despite us being with our 3-year-old daughter. Excellent wines and the Casetta, a rediscovered local grape variety, was very interesting: highly recommended!

The winery visit and the tasting were very interesting. Definitely Alexander, our guide, was very professional and courteous, he explained to us in a clear and simple way the various types of wine, grape variety, harvest and tasting traditions. The platter of cured meats and cheeses for the pairing was also excellent. Amarone TOP! The winery where the tasting took place is located in a hilly area where you can admire a beautiful landscape. Alexander's suggestion was to come back during the grape drying season. Noted!

Valentine's Day Tasting

Excellent products, very cute atmosphere and the owner has a heart of gold! I was there for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend, coming from Milan, but we will gladly come back when we are in Bologna!

Fabulous wines and engaging owners

Winter in the vineyards is a difficult time, but we love the terraces so much and want every family member that visits us to see them. I searched for wine tastings, and Cave de Moratel was available for a nice tasting session. The wines, three generations have owned the 20,000 hectares, were all very good. The owners were so wonderful, giving us history of the vineyards, the grapes, and sharing events in Cully with us. We are thrilled that we were able to book something - even though they had not had a booking since 2024 through the site! We look forward to returning to the vineyard in the summer when we hike the area.

Pleasant experience in the Langhe

Pleasant experience in the Langhe

I booked this visit for myself and my family members from Milan. I should mention that I often go to the Langhe, I already know the most renowned wineries and I like to discover new ones, like in this case Podere Gagliassi, an estate on the border of the Barolo area that intrigued me. I wanted to immediately applaud the presence of electric charging stations at the destination: an excellent service for customers, which shows an eye for innovation and sustainability. The welcome was excellent: a young man educated and informed us about the wine production areas and the grape varieties, then the visit to the estate and the cellar. Our guide was professional and knowledgeable, even with some of my tricky questions. The winery is recently built, so it still has to make its history. Anyway, I feel I can say that the professionalism and friendliness of our guide added an extra touch to a winery that has a very good starting point. Final score: 8.

A bit rushed but detailed

The experience was fun and it was cool learning about different wines from Italy. However, it was clearly during a. busy time of night and therefore the guy was not as attentive and was a bit rushed. He also seemed a little frustrated we actually showed up for the tasting.
