The wine tasting experience was great! We ended up having the place to ourselves. Emanuel was a great host, he taught us a lot about the history of the house, the process of making the wine and gave us some local cheese and meets to have with the wine.
We bought 4 bottles, and we would have bought more if we had the room!
Definitely recommend if you want to do something a bit different!

Great tour!
We had a great tour experience with Irena, who was very knowledgeable about both the cultivation of lemons and production of limoncello. Only tough part about this tour was getting there - we took a bus to Massa Lubrensa and then walked up to the location for the tour - a good 20-25 minute walk uphill. Worth it once we arrived but definitely something you should know. The products themselves and hospitality from everyone there was 10/10. Would recommend if you’re interested in learning more about limoncello!

A lovely discovery
Coming up from Matala (south) towards Heraklion, we came across this winery that was offering wine tastings by the glass.
Several packages are offered, from a tasting of 4 glasses up to 10 and more.
The prices are reasonable and the tasting is accompanied by cheese, breadsticks, olives, croutons...
We visited the cellar for the production and storage.
Superb welcome in English with a few words of French.
The wines are perfect and we brought back a few bottles to enjoy in France.
We will come back.
