I couldn’t recommend the vineyard experience enough! The setting was beautiful, with the table looking over the vines - felt really authentic. It was just our group as well, so weren’t banded together with people we didn’t know. We tried 3 wines, all delicious, as was the food, which kept on coming! We actually ended up cancelling our dinner reservations as it was no longer needed. We also had a tour of the production facilities with the team - they couldn’t do enough for us, such lovely and welcoming people! It really did make our trip to Sicily and would say you have to go if you’re close by and want a lovely evening!

Little did we know as we drove up to Santa Giulia that our day would become such a memorable experience. This family-run winery in Tuscany has it all. The beautiful landscape, the warmth of the family, the knowledgeable explanations, the exquisite lunch served in the house (if you go for the zero-kilometer experience, like we did). Even the family dog is charming! We can absolutely recommend that you visit and try their fine wines (try more than one vintage of their Brunello if possible), their olive oil, their charcuterie. You will know one or more family members, and if you stay for lunch, Nonna Mirella will make sure you get to experience the flavors of the Tuscan cuisine.

This was a wonderful experience! Olaf made it a very personal experience, telling us about the history of the family business. The wines were great and the food pairings complimented the wines. We had a very nice afternoon with a beautiful view.

We had such a gorgeous afternoon! The winery is totally spectacular, nestled in the quiet hills above Syracuse. The winery was really delicious, very complex. We loved the little summary we were given of everything we tried; and the food pairing was a huge bonus. The tour of the winery was very sweet and interesting. Would totally reccomend this spot!
