Our visit to the Rechsteiner winery was very pleasant for several reasons. We were welcomed by Maddalena, a very knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly young woman who guided us, telling us not only about the wine production but also dwelling on the centuries-old history of the estate. The gardens are enchanting and hold continuous surprises. The wines, served with a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, truly amazed us, so much so that we brought home 8 different bottles. To top it all off, the night spent in the quiet of the countryside and the breakfast with homemade cakes, cookies, jams, and yogurt, always served with great hospitality. A highly recommended experience!
