De ontvangst was hartelijk en persoonlijk. Andrea gaf ons een hand en stelde vragen en toonde oprecht interesse. Hij is een zeer bevlogen en gepassioneerde ambachtelijke wijnmaker en trots op zijn producten en familiebedrijf. Alles ademt kwaliteit en aandacht. We kregen kijkje in de wijngaard, eind juni dus volle trossen rijpende druiven, de kelder met de vaten, de wijnbibliotheek. Andrea vertelde over de aarde en de samenstelling die zo bepalend is voor de soort wijn. De Nobile, Rosso, riserva, ook de sparkling wijn en de witte wijn. We proefden zes wijnen. Twee erg dure en vier betaalbare. En we kochten drie flesjes en ook een fles olijfolie van het huis. Kortom, we zijn zeer tevreden over de rondleiding en de proeverij. Een groep van 12 mensen is wel max om alles goed te kunnen zien en proeven.

Una piccola avventura di vino!
Fabio and Matilda were wonderful hosts. My husband and I are interested in the wine making history and processes, so seeing the beautiful vineyard and fermenting wine along with Matilda’s excellent background information and philosophy of the winemaker was the perfect addition to our time in Bologna. The wine was light and refreshing with complex noses and mouth feels. I highly recommend this tour for the wine loving adventurers.
