Brilliant experience!
This was the first ever champagne tasting which did not disappoint! The staff were really friendly and knowledgable and the owners were around to talk to, including the wine maker. This was a very intimate set up and the champagne was excellent!! I could not rate this enough! We didn’t order food but the owner brought nuts over to us. Lovely!

A last-minute decision to do a wine tasting tour
We decided last-minute to book this wine tasting tour.
Roberta kindly adjusted the tour to suit our timing restrictions and language barriers.
Her English was great and her insightful knowledge really helped us understand more about the wine-making process. We loved learning about Vinsanto production too. She guided us incredibly well during the wine tasting section too, explaining to us the difference between wines and aging.
The location was breathtaking and so worth the drive!
The price-service ratio was exceptional!
Definitely recommended!

Great experience!
The winery was in one of most beautiful locations in Tuscany, the hills and the cypresses were like a postcard! The Santa Giulia winery offers a wine-tasting experience that beautifully combines tradition with modern viticulture. From the moment we arrived, they warmly welcomed us and offered us a full guide tour explaining everything. The rows of grapevines stretching to the horizon and views of the Tuscan countryside made us feel like stepping into a postcard.
We tried 4 red wines (Merlot, Rosso, Brunello 2018 and Brunello 2019) which were paired with locally sourced cheeses, cold cuts, olives and breads, making the tasting not only about the wine but also a celebration of Tuscan gastronomy.

Tasting at the La Regola winery
I would recommend this tasting to everyone. We were welcomed with great kindness and the place is wonderful. Outside and inside. A place to be absolutely admired, for the landscapes, the vineyards, and the structure of the cellar. The person who accompanied us on the tour explained everything with professionalism, accuracy… and passion!
We knew the wines, they are well-known and excellent, but the guided tour of the cellar and the artistic, stunning barrel room, with the accompanying explanations, certainly surprised and enchanted us.
The actual tasting was on the same level… in addition, along with the wines we were offered a delicious platter and also a very welcome supplement of bruschetta with new oil. A real delight! The icing on the cake, after we had expressed curiosity about the classic method with Petit Manseng… they offered us two glasses. We would have paid the extra, but they insisted on offering it. We bought La Regola and the vintage Metodo Classico at really great prices, a perfect quality-price ratio.
Thanks to Winedering and La Regola for this fantastic experience!

Great visit, fabulous wines
We visited in October 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were guided through the vines, the collection bays, into the cellar and the explanations were detailed and very interesting. The wine tasting was great, and very generous. The red Serpico was wonderful and the Greco white. The San Greg Rose is also lovely as an aperitif.

Picnic in the vineyard in September '24
Pleasant day in the vineyard. We appreciated the freedom to move among the rows of vines, while also being able to taste the different grapes. The very warm and knowledgeable welcome made the experience perfect.

Great wine tasting and lunch
We (me and my wife) enjoyed a really nice visit to the Santa Giulia vineyard, The visit included a walk through the winery, followed by a tasting event with four wines (two vintages of their Brunello, one Rosso di Montalcino and one Merlot wine), which was combined with a very good and generously sized lunch, prepared and served on the premises. The visit to the winery itself was rather short, and the guide did not seem to have in-depth knowledge about the more technical aspects of the operations. This is probably relevant only if you are a true wine nerd, and of little consequence to the average visitor. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and we had lots of time to enjoy the food and the wines. All in all, a visit to Santa Giulia is strongly recommended.
