Wine visit
We visited Savignola Paolina with my family.
It was a great experience, the vineyard was beautiful, the food was very good and the wine was lovely.
The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.
It was not olive season so we did not get to try the olive oil but overall I highly recommend it.

Recommended visit
It was generally a bit more expensive than than the other near by choices we had but it was worthy. There is a nice river view and the scacks given were great. It was just us so we have the full attention, the host was very friendly, he sat and chatted with us and was ready to reply any questions. We really enjoy the wine in this peaceful small winery.

Not to be missed!!!
This was one of the most significant experiences for us in Tuscany! Angela was so kind and helpful before we even left for our trip. She actually called me on the phone from Italy to work on our arrangements. The tour was about an hour and a half and included touring the vineyard, cellar, and a tasting. She was knowledgeable and answered all of our one million questions. She offered to take our picture in the most beautiful spots so we didnt have to interrupt the tour for that. The wine was, of course divine, and we bought two bottles. She left the room as we discussed what to buy and how many which I thought was very respectful. No pressure to buy at all. I highly recommend this tour and I hope to go back again one day to this lovely place.

Wonderful tour and excellent wine experience in the Chianti
We wanted a less formal wine tour/experience at a smaller winery and found Castello di Selvole. We were so pleased we did - Alberto was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable about the history of the Castello and of course the wines. It was a real pleasure to hear from someone who is actually making the wine and understand all the details behind the process. We enjoyed a lovely informal tasting of 4 Chianti wines paired with cheese and meats , including an amazing Vin Santo that is the best we have ever tasted. No pressure to buy ( but we did!) and we felt this was so much more personal and interesting than the tours at the big wineries. Would totally recommend!

Very good
A perfect tasting, led by someone who loves his work.
Riccardo Fratus hosted us on Saturday 6/10 in his winery for a very interesting couple of hours.
We took advantage of a couple of friends from Bordeaux coming to Italy, oenology enthusiasts like us, to look for a winery in Franciacorta that offered a food and wine experience.
I must say that the place is fantastic, that Riccardo is a wonderful person and that for the price of €33/person it is not at all exaggerated: 3 good wines from their production with well-poured glasses (not always the case in other wineries...) paired with cured meats, cheeses and breadsticks.
A tour/explanation in the cellars and a walk in the vineyards.
Thank you, Riccardo

Excellent experience
We spent a very pleasant day. Small but nice winery with very good wines. Simple but good food. The vineyards surrounding the agriturismo are a spectacle.
We absolutely recommend it.

Wine Tasting in Valdobbiadene: A Journey through the Hills and Flavors
We had the pleasure of participating in a Cartizze and Prosecco tasting in Valdobbiadene, and the experience was truly exceptional. The event took place in an enchanting location, nestled among the vine-covered hills that characterize this renowned wine region.
The tasting was well-organized and allowed us to savor a selection of 6 glasses of prosecco and Cartizze, accompanied by a platter of local sopressa and cheese. Each wine came with a detailed explanation of its characteristics, the production process, and the peculiarities of the soil.
The host was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all our questions with patience and passion. His in-depth knowledge of the wines and the territory significantly enriched our experience, making it not only enjoyable but also educational.
At the end of the tasting, we couldn't resist the temptation to buy a few bottles of our favorite wines.
We highly recommend this activity to anyone who is passionate about wine and wishes to discover the oenological excellences of Valdobbiadene!
