5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Wine Tasting Experience Near Agropoli (Sylwia)We had the most wonderful afternoon at this family-run vineyard and winery. From the moment we arrived, Paolo and his son made us feel incredibly welcome. They shared fascinating stories about their life, the history of the vineyard, and the winemaking process with so much passion and authenticity. It felt less like a wine tasting and more like spending time with old friends. The setting itself is breathtaking – sitting high up on the mountain beside the family home, surrounded by vineyards, enjoying spectacular views while tasting exceptional wines. Every wine was beautifully explained, and Paolo’s son was equally knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Together they created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, making sure we felt comfortable throughout the experience. The cold meat and cheese platter deserves a special mention – without a doubt one of the tastiest we’ve ever had. The quality and flavours were outstanding and paired perfectly with the wines. What truly sets this place apart is the warmth and generosity of the family. They even kindly drove us back to Agropoli afterwards, which was greatly appreciated and completely above and beyond what we expected. If you’re visiting the Agropoli area and looking for an authentic Italian wine experience, this is an absolute must. Amazing wines, incredible hospitality, stunning views, and wonderful people. We would recommend it to everyone and would love to return one day. Thank you, Paolo and family, for creating such a memorable experience!

We received detailed and insightful information about the wines and the entire production process from start to finish, which made the experience both educational and engaging. The selection of local food was excellent and complemented the wines perfectly. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, open, and easy to talk to. 5 Visit Verrone Winery in Agropoli (Leah)We can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience we had with Paolo at his estate as well as a visit to the nearby castle. He was so gracious and knowledgeable. Each of our 5 tastings was expertly paired with items that truly enhanced the wine’s flavors. And the beauty of this estate, as well as Paolo’s gorgeous wine cellar, are unmatched.

5 Take this tour! (Abbie)I can’t say enough about the Verrone vineyard and winery! They picked us up from and dropped us off at the train station in Agropoli, spent the whole evening with us, and really made us feel like family. After walking around their vineyard and discussing all the different grapes they grow, we spent time on the patio and sampled some genuinely delicious wines paired with tasty snacks (prosciutto, smoked provolone, buffalo mozzarella, the list goes on). Later, they took us for a sunset walk at another vineyard they own that sits next to a recently restored 1000-year-old castle. It was such a memorable experience for us and one of the highlights of our trip to Campania. Thank you, Paolo and Antonio! We hope to see you again someday!

5 Incredible! (Thomas)Absolutely incredible experience. Justine our guide was so friendly, informative and made us feel right at home. The wine complimented with their cheeses and salami was just unbelievable. Their stories and history of the area, along with all the flavours really blew my mind and kept me engaged the whole way through. Being the first wine tour for myself I didn’t know what to expect but it may have been my favourite activity for my stay here in Agropoli.

5 Best vineyard tour we have seen in Campania in two years!!! (Laura)The Verrone family has the best vineyard tour we have ever been on! They open up their historical family estate, which is the largest in the Cilento area, and the wines are second to none. We've lived in Campania now for over a year and toured a lot of vineyards, with none of them even comparable to Verrone. Paolo, the owner, and his son were our hosts for two different tours (purchase on Winedering and book in advance). He is extremely knowledgable on the whole process and is steeped in the history of the place. I cannot recommend this tour and meeting the Verrone family enough!

5 An unforgettable day! (Anna )My boyfriend and I decided to spend our anniversary enjoying this beautiful experience. Delicious wines and a super abundant aperitivo, but the most welcome thing of all was definitely the company of Mr. Paolo: he guided us around his vineyard and then we had a pleasant chat with him as if we were old friends. The fantastic view, it felt like being in paradise for the peace and relaxation that this afternoon gave us. I recommend the experience, we will definitely do it again.

5 Excellent tasting (Maria Carmela)We had the pleasure of visiting Vigna Verrone in Agropoli and I can say it was an incredible discovery! The wines we tasted were very good, in fact the quality of the wines was truly excellent! But what made the experience truly special was the company of Paolo. Our guide led us with passion and knowledge through the vineyard, telling us stories and anecdotes about wine production. His infinite passion for wine is contagious and made us discover new and interesting aspects of this world. We were lucky to have Paolo as our host and guide, and we can say that it was one of the best tasting experiences we have ever had. Many thanks to Paolo and Vigna Verrone for offering us a memorable day! If you are wine lovers, don't miss the opportunity to visit this vineyard and meet Paolo! The combination of excellent wines and a passionate guide makes this experience unique and unforgettable!

5 Something unique! (Anna)One of the most beautiful experiences lived in this magnificent land. The owner wasn't just kind, he was more. The morning of the appointment he sent us a message to remind us, an hour before he sent us photos to understand the exact way and once we arrived there he surprised us with the passion he has for this family business. Professional, he surprised us with these 4 wines paired with local food, which then led to conversations where it almost seemed like we were family. I believe that if everyone were like this, these experiences would be valued more. Congratulations and we will definitely be back for another experience.

5 A True Hidden Gem (Sébastien)Our visit to this family-run winery was a true highlight of our trip and a memorable experience for the whole family. The tour began with a walk through the stunning estate, where we learned about the different grape varieties and the winemaking process for their exceptional white, rosé, and red wines. The setting is absolutely enchanting—beautifully landscaped grounds, a charming hacienda, and a picturesque inner courtyard filled with flowers and warmth. Our experience was led by Justine and Lorenzo, the owner and winemaker. Their hospitality was outstanding. They made us feel genuinely welcome and took the time to answer all of our questions with passion and patience. One of the highlights was that Justine spoke French, which allowed our entire family to enjoy the tour in our native language—a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. The tour ended with a generous tasting of all their wines—each one delicious and unique. As if that wasn’t enough, Lorenzo’s mother prepared a homemade meal for us, allowing us to pair the wines with incredible local dishes. The experience was elevated even further by their exquisite house-made olive oil, which perfectly showcased the region’s flavors. This visit was a true favorite for every member of the family. A heartfelt thank you to Justine and Lorenzo for their flawless hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to all wine lovers and anyone looking to discover the rich culinary heritage of Italy. Bravo! Seb2

After a splendid walk seasoned with a thorough explanation of the work that goes on behind the scenes at the vineyard, we moved on to the tasting. What can I say? Everything was delicious.
