5 Visit to Ricci Curbastro Azienda Agricola (K) In August 2024, my husband and I had a delightful tour and tasting at Ricci Curbastro, a medium-sized producer. The guide was very knowledgeable and kept the tour interesting as she explained the history of the azienda and the franciacorta-making process -- switching effortlessly between English and Italian. A great stop to a lovely wine-making region between Brescia and Lake Iseo.

4 Lovely Visit (Josh)The host of the winery was very patient in explaining any question from us. Even when some of the participants didn't engaged in the wine tasting, she was still very nice and made our experience so enjoyable. The Franciacorta was lovely and the view was spectacular. Love it!

5 Great tour and guide! (Paula)The tour was very well guided by the amazing guide that knew really well the history and the ways of the farm. I unfortunately didn't get her name, but she made our experience 100/100. The wines were tasty and we couldn't resist buying some bottles! It was worth it! Thank you for having us! We recommend 100%

5 Winery visit and tasting (Daniele)A truly very positive experience! The visit was very interesting and well-organized. Our guide was truly knowledgeable, helpful, and very kind: she was able to tell us the history of the winery and the area in an engaging way, attentively answering all our questions. The tasting was also an excellent conclusion to the visit. An experience that I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get to know Franciacorta better and discover a very interesting reality of the area!

1 Disappointment (Mar)Nothing special, we had already done other tastings at other wineries and we thought it would be at the same level... but no. Nice presentation but not the tasting, three different wines always poured into the same glass and classic packaged breadsticks.

4 Franciacorta... (Paolo)Beautiful and historic winery with a very interesting attached museum of rural life. The winemaking part was explained to us in a clear and effective manner. The tasting confirmed the great quality of their products which, unlike other wineries, include, in addition to the famous bubbles, also local white and red wines. The prices of the products are appropriate for the quality and they can be purchased in the attached shop.

5 Trip to Franciacorta (Patrizio)It was a beautiful experience, very informative. Seeing all those old tools preserved in the company's museums reminded me of when I used to help my grandfather harvest grapes and make wine. The visit to the cellar was also wonderful, with all those bottles that were developing their character there. Finally, the wine tasting: I particularly appreciated the Brut, very delicate. The guide was very kind and thorough. I recommend this experience to everyone, truly interesting.

5 Winery visit (Simone)Truly an excellent experience! The tour of the winery really makes you understand the work behind producing the wines, especially the sparkling wines, before they are released for sale. The young women who guide you on the tour are truly exceptional. The icing on the cake are the wines they have you taste: the Extra Brut, PHENOMENAL!

5 Interesting visit to a historic winery (Alice)A very well-done and interesting tour (they have you visit the agricultural and wine museum, as well as the cellar), the girl who guided us was very good at explaining, even for those like us who didn't know much about this world. Furthermore, a truly attentive and kind welcome, also regarding the presence of our little dog who did the whole tour with us. Well done!

4 Very interesting tour (Karin)The tour through the museum, the wine cellar and the subsequent tasting were very interesting. We were lucky to be just the two of us. There's just one small drawback, which is that only Italian and English tours are offered. However, it was still explained very clearly. It was good value for money.
