5 Passion and grit (Daniele)Daniele is an excellent host, you immediately perceive the passion and dedication for his work: when you commit yourself fully, you experience the difficulties firsthand and you strive to overcome them, the results can only be excellent. We came to the Langhe in search of small producers and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be back and we did not hesitate to add his labels to our wine list because inside every bottle, besides good wine, you find commitment, sacrifice and, despite his young age, also competence and experience.

2 Disappointing... (Daniel)My girlfriend and I decided to do this tasting at Daniele and Alessia's winery and, unfortunately, we were quite disappointed... Let's start with the positive things: Daniele, who guided us on the tour, is a very passionate person regarding the world of wine and you can see and feel this passion, considering he explained many interesting things to us, and also a bit more technical than what is usually done. The area around the house and the vineyard where the tour takes place is very nice, as is the tasting area, where we were able to enjoy a very evocative pre-sunset view. Why the tasting itself was very disappointing: Of the 4 wines (plus a bonus one at the end) we didn't like any of them, but this is a matter of personal taste and we can't blame the winery for it... The real sore points: - we were offered a meager platter to share with 2 other people at our table on which there were, per person, 1 slice of cured salami, 1 or 2 slices of cooked salami (depending on how fast you were to grab them, since there were 6 in total :) ) and 2 pieces of cheese. In addition to all this there was a basket with an equally meager quantity of breadsticks (3/4 per person)... It is certainly true that the tasting of local products is not the main part of a winery visit, but it is also just as true that we paid a not insignificant amount per person (25€) and that the photos on this site but also on Google show a different kind of platter being offered. I don't know if it was a miscalculation of the quantities or something else (because, I repeat, other photos show decidedly more abundant quantities), but in that case it would have been nice to at least receive an apology at the time. - The quantities of wine poured for the tasting were just as meager, the equivalent of one or two sips. It seemed to us that only one bottle was opened and that they tried to make it last for all the guests participating in the tasting (between 10 and 15, by eye). Here too, one might not expect to leave a tasting drunk and I can also understand that, being a small winery with limited production, they try to limit the number of bottles opened during tastings, but, as above, this tasting was paid enough to expect a little something more, whereas at a lower price I would have had nothing to complain about. A real shame!

(Nilde)The winery tour was really interesting: inside the beautiful estate we were able to see up close all the machinery and the phases that contribute to the production of Grimaldi wines, explained with great expertise and passion by Mr. Luigino. The tasting was excellent, accompanied by the friendliness, hospitality, and helpfulness of Mr. Grimaldi. An absolutely recommended experience, perfect both as a personal treat and as a gift idea — just as in our case.

5 First tasting of my life (Francesca)My friends and I were lucky enough to have our first tasting at the Agnelli-Viassone winery. We were welcomed by two very young guys who allowed us to discover what is hidden behind a glass of wine. Definitely a lot of passion and hard work. At the beginning we took a tour of the vineyards and visited the cellar; to finish, the tasting of 4 of their own wines, accompanied by a rich platter of typical Piedmontese cheeses and cured meats. Nothing to add: a super recommended experience in a magical place!!!

5 A young venture that produces excellent wine (Manuel)A splendid experience at the Agnelli Viassone winery. The hostess, Alessia, accompanied us on a true discovery of wine, explaining very simply and clearly the journey the grape takes from the vineyard to the bottle. You can see the love that these two young producers have for their work and for their land, and we found this love both in the tour of the vineyards, in the cellar, and in the tasting of their wines. The tasting of the 4 wines took place in a beautiful setting and in a very cozy little room, where Alessia introduced us to their production with a nice platter of cured meats and cheeses. I really appreciated the smoothness of the wines on the palate and the aroma. The Arneis, the Barbera, and the Nebbiolo were excellent... and the Dolcetto was also a pleasant surprise because usually it's a wine that I find more acidic, but this one proved to have excellent drinkability. The visit took place with views that fill the eyes and I found the whole estate to be extremely well-kept. The cellar was very tidy, clean, and the restored concrete vats gave a romantic touch to everything. The small details on the label and bottling are even more a sign of care and dedication to their work. A magnificent experience that I recommend.

Alessia welcomed us warmly and told us the whole story of their vineyards, accompanying us on their discovery and then showing us the various bottling and wine production processes in their cellar, conveying at every moment the great commitment and immense passion they put into this work. 5 Excellent tasting (Alessia)I went with some of my friends to do a tasting at this winery, I must say that I liked it a lot because even though it had opened recently the guys seemed very kind and also knowledgeable in their explanations and also in the winemaking process itself. We were also very surprised to understand how this wine is made using natural products and not with the methods that large industrial wineries use. We also liked it because the atmosphere is very familiar! Personally I am not a big wine drinker but I really, really liked this one!
