5 Wine Tasting @ Bodega Emilio Moro (Adrian)Our Host Raquel was very nice and told us a lot about the history of the winery and the growing of the vines, the harvesting and the storage of the wine in the barrels. After the tour we went upstairs in the restaurant where we could taste 4 different wines and Raquel shared all her knowledge about the wines and wine tasting.

5 Great Tour! Great Wine!! (Robert)The tour was very informative about the importance of the ecological approach implemented at the Virtus Bodegas. Thorough walk through of processing of the grape. Beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff, and the tasting room was relaxed and welcoming. Rafael was a great host. And it was all topped - off by a generous tasting of three of their incredible wines. A fun afternoon.

5 English Tour (Paul & Tracy)We were met by the host ( sorry can’t remember his name but might be javier ) and we had a wonderful tour of the Bodega which was very interesting and the detail was second to none. We tasted some fabulous wines and the attention at the final tasting was superb.

5 Personally wine tasting (Peter)Me and my wife joined a wine tasting at Bodega Sarmentero in November 2024. When we arrived we were the only 2 booked. That gave us an unic experience in wine production. This is a very small wine producer and we loved the way it was prepared. A walk through the production and then a tasting with local ham and cheese. So generous! The woman that guided us was extremely friendly and had very good knowledge about wine. She also spoke perfect English.

5 Perfect Winery tour in Ribera del duero (Changseong)### English review This winery is not the largest in Ribera del Duero, but I can confidently say that the quality here is second to none. Javier, the manager of this Bodega, welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived and gave us an interesting and friendly explanation of the winery's history, making us fall in love with its philosophy. We then toured the winery's fermentation and aging facilities, receiving detailed explanations of the wine production process. I was very impressed by the extensive steps taken to select the grapes used in the wine and the use of eco-friendly yeast. We also had the opportunity to taste wine maturing in oak barrels. Although this wine is still young and tannic, I felt that its aroma and balance were excellent. As a wine lover, this was a very special experience for me. Later, we had a private wine tasting. Javier explained the aromas in detail and taught us how to properly taste the wine. In the end, we bought three bottles and headed back.

5 Excellent experience (Luis Mariano)Wonderful visit led by the owner, a charming and kind person. Ten out of ten wines, both the white and the rosé (this one especially to my taste) and the reds. And the tasting room is very pretty. 100% recommended

5 Great Experience (Jose)Great place, great people and absolutely incredible wines. We went in November and we tasted all the Malleolus and the Godello ones. Everything was great, the tour shows every part of the winery, the old vineyards, the barrels where the wine ages, everything is great.

1 Disappointment (ALFONSO)I booked the Orígenes experience as a gift for my partner, it's the most premium experience for which you pay good money, I have to admit I went with high expectations and was excited because it's a benchmark winery for me, the wines are still unbeatable, but the wine tourism experience was bad, neither the order of the experience nor the menu available on the web was followed and the worst part was that I was the one who had to keep asking what we were supposed to be doing, who we were supposed to wait for, or telling them the menu we had booked, no one there knew we were from the Orígenes experience, there may have been a lot of people but a premium experience deserves to have an attentive person, the best part of the experience was the last people who showed us the picnic area, kind people who made that moment the best of the experience.

5 100% recommended (Eva)It was a great experience, a super family-run winery with a beautiful history and tradition. The place is wonderful and the girl who gave us the tour was charming. They have some nice touches for the visitor that are appreciated and everything was super pleasant. As for the wines, we loved them, both the white which surprised us, and the gran reserva which is spectacular. Without a doubt, it's an experience that is worth it and at a really good price.

5 Visit to Sarmentero winery (Jenifer)We loved the experience. We went as 5 friends and learned about the process of planting, harvesting, and winemaking. We finished with a pairing of 4 wines with cured meats, cheeses, and dried fruits. The person in charge was very clear and entertaining in his explanations and the facilities are very well-maintained. We took several bottles of wine with us that, wherever we take them, are very much enjoyed. I 100% recommend this winery and the activity.

4 Wonderful (Bárbara)We had a wonderful morning. The tour is individual for the group you book; you're not mixed with other groups. Although the winery is small, Paqui's explanations were excellent, and the wines were fantastic. We also went with children, who had a great time.

5 A spectacular owner! (Enrique Carlos)They served us even though we arrived late due to a scheduling error. Bodega Sarmentero is a family winery with such warm service. Its owner explained and clarified all kinds of doubts for us, and with great passion and warmth, she showed us what they do with a lot of love.

5 An out of the ordinary experience! (Enrique Carlos)We were greeted by Javier, none other than the manager! The tour, excellent; the explanations and the personalized treatment, unique. The winery itself, a model to follow, and very well run by this great host. The wines, unforgettable; the white one in particular really surprised me. The reds, some of the most delicious I have ever had. I will definitely be back in a few years to try their gran reserva again!

3 Visit to Bodega Emilio Moro (Jennifer)Overall, the experience was satisfactory, but I think the price of the winery tour and meal package is excessive for what you get. The winery tour is barely 40 minutes, the tasting is done during the meal. I paid 220 euros for two people and then bought 170 euros worth of wine, we asked for some complimentary glasses and they didn't give us anything. I think that customer service with such high prices should improve.

The tour is completely personalized for our group. Javier, the manager, accompanied and guided us, and he was a magnificent host. The wines we tasted were out of the ordinary. Totally recommend visiting this winery.
