5 lovely! (Sonya)We were 8 people from the UK and we had a great experience. Leonardo has knowledge beyond his years and his great English meant we had a lovely time. Lots of questions answered and tasted some great wine. Thank you

3 Interesting but fell short of expectations (Anthony)Small local winery with an interesting selection of wines including some made with innovative techniques. For example, a merlot aged in Roman style clay pots. However, they didn’t have the staff to deal with the visit. There was only one young lady covering everything including a steady stream of local customers (which is of course is a good sign). However, the knock on effect was that she was unable to devote that much time to our wine tour/tasting. Hence it fell well short of expectations.

4 Warm & Friendly Family (Dawn)I scheduled a wine tour for my husband & I while in Pistoia. The scheduling was very simple. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owners of the farm ( husband & wife). They spoke very little English but they were the warmest and kindest people. A few mins. after, their adult daughter ( with her own little daughter of 3 yrs) & son joined ( just as friendly). Unfortunately, it was pouring rain and we did not get a tour of the vineyard and hich we would have loved as it is a BEAUTIFUL farm! Momma Marini knew the most english and she showed us where the wine was stored & bottled as well as the process of the olive oil making. Shortly after, we were seated at a small table and were introduced to their white wine (light & medium fruitiness).. We also had the red reserve ( nice) along with some salumi, cheese & olives as well as their owned wine jelly ( my husband’s favorite!). We had their lemon infused olive oil( (spring in a bottle!) with bread. We finished with some vin santo and their own biscotti - delicioso!! Although there was a language barrier, we had a pleasant experience and walked away with some delicious wine, olive oil and goodies to savor.

5 Worth! (Przemyslaw)I’m not an expert in vines, but I can honestly say that atmosphere was great! Gentleman who showed us the vinery was very professional, polite and answered every question. Very interesting tour.

5 Very interesting and pleasant (Gian Quirico)After the brief presentation of the company, we saw the processing stages for both the wine and the oil, to then finish with the tasting, first passing by the room where the grapes that will produce the vinsanto are prepared. The explanation was interesting and clear, the products of the family-run company seemed genuine and of excellent quality. A beautiful experience, highly recommended.

5 Very unique (Valeria)The visit was short but efficient. They showed us the vineyards and where they then produce oil, wine and vinsanto. Everything very productive and unique, I definitely recommend it!

4 Nice experience (Chantal)A nice hostess showed us around the cellar and area where the grapes were growing. After the story she told us about making wine, we tasted four different wines. The wines tasted very good. After the visit we bought three bottles for a good price.

4 Casalbosco Tasting (Roberto)The winery visit was interesting and led by a young woman who handles the tours, who was helpful and knowledgeable about all our questions. I must point out, however, that the price paid is ABSOLUTELY not worth the proposed tour; in fact, we were only shown the barrel room (beautiful), and, it not being the season, neither the vineyards nor the estate, so I believe that 19 euros is excessive just for the barrel part. Furthermore, there was no sign or anyone to tell us where to go for the visit.

5 Pleasant surprise (Ccb)Wonderful tour of the winery with knowledgeable and attentive staff. Excellent wines, from the Chianti to the Sangiovese without forgetting the Vinsanto. Highly recommended.
