5 A hidden gem in Piedmont (Chiara)My wife and I stayed one night at Cantina Fontechiara and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a charming family-run feel that made us feel right at home. The building has been beautifully renovated—modern where it counts but still retaining its rustic charm. The highlight of our stay was the wine tasting. It was both educational and engaging, with delicious local wines accompanied by generous and tasty snacks. In the morning, we were treated to a wonderful breakfast with fresh, high-quality products. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing wine country experience.

She was very skilled and friendly, she explained everything to us: from the harvest, to the production and the tasting of the delicious wines. 5 Lovely tasting ()Nice tasting hosted by Catarina. First had short tour at one of the winefields on premise and took a look in the cellar. After that a very nice wine tasting with matching (local) cheese/meat The Vespolina and Ghemm wines are very nice! Would definetly come back here. Nice vinyard and host!

5 SPINA Spumante Extra Dry (Cerutti)This bubbly was a very pleasant discovery! You wouldn't expect a white like this to come from a Nebbiolo-based grape. A fine and delicate bubble but with a robust, harmonious, fruity base that makes it well-structured and with a persistent flavor. A truly very interesting wine from upper Piedmont.
