La Piemontina is a new winemaking reality rooted in the rich heritage of Piedmont, Italy. As young winemakers, we blend the wisdom of past generations with modern technology to craft exceptional wines. Our vision extends beyond wine production; we aim to be a hub for those with an active lifestyle and a passion for wine.

Inspired by a deep love for the land, the family behind Cantina Fontechiara decided to return to their roots, reviving the winemaking tradition passed down through generations. With guidance from expert oenologists and local viticulturists, the vineyards were replanted with indigenous grape varieties, marking the beginning of a unique and challenging journey, closely aligned with nature’s rhythms. The name "Fontechiara" is a tribute to Chiara and the natural water spring, or "fonte," found on the property by a water diviner. The vineyard is farmed using natural methods, based on the belief that wine made without chemicals is better for both the planet and the wine drinker. This approach not only preserves the health of the soil and plants but also ensures a purer product, free from harmful residues.

Podere ai Valloni is a historic estate of Alto Piemonte that has been producing Boca DOC since the birth of the denomination in 1969. Located along the ancient Traversagna road among the hills of the Monte Fenera Natural Park, the vineyard has its roots in the porphyries of the Supervolcano of Valsesia, which give the wines unique characteristics of complexity and elegance, and is completely surrounded by woods that favor biodiversity. The utmost care is given to the management of the vineyard, from the tillage of the soil to manual pruning techniques, in the continuous effort to maintain a balance between the vegetative and productive cycles, while respecting the vines and the environment. The vineyard has been managed under certified organic farming since 2011, without any chemical weeding, with very limited treatments based on sulfur and copper and a demanding selection of the bunches. The microclimate, pleasantly ventilated by the fresh currents that descend from the valleys, favors the ripening of the grapes that until October are enriched with colors, aromas and flavors, maintaining a good freshness even in hot years. The wines are produced exclusively with grapes grown on the spot, with a deliberately very low yield per hectare, to favor quality over quantity. Respect, care and foresight have always been essential commitments for the company, which has been publishing its sustainability report annually since 2021.

Cà Nova, founded by Giada Codecasa and her father Vittorio in 1996, is located in Bogogno, within the remarkable terrain of the Novara Hills, a landscape formed by the ancient Supervulcano della Valsesia and the glacial deposits from Monte Rosa. This unique area, rich in volcanic and morainic materials, offers exceptional conditions for viticulture. The Codecasa family recognized the potential of the land and planted 10 hectares of vineyards, driven by their philosophy of combining high-quality grape cultivation with meticulous winemaking practices. The vineyards at Cà Nova are managed with a focus on sustainability and respect for the natural ecosystem. Vineyard work is done almost entirely by hand, without the use of chemical herbicides, and vine protection treatments are applied minimally and non-invasively. This approach extends into the winery, where careful attention is given to preserving the purity and character of the grapes. Situated in the heart of Alto Piemonte, Cà Nova is blessed with an extraordinary microclimate influenced by the Mediterranean, tempered by Monte Rosa, and shaped by the geological forces of the Ice Age and the Valsesia Supervolcano. These factors imbue the wines, particularly their Nebbiolo, with a distinct minerality and structure, characteristic of this unique terroir. One of the estate's standout wines is San Quirico, a remarkable expression of the region's minerality and acidity. This wine is produced from an ancient vineyard that the family revived after it had been reclaimed by the woods. The vineyard, which faces south on a hillside of morainic origin, sits beneath the ruins of a 15th-century chapel. Its acidic soil, rich in iron, gives the wine exceptional minerality and longevity, representing the deep history and resilience of the land. In addition to winemaking, Cà Nova offers a hospitality experience at Relais Cà Nova, a charming guesthouse featuring eight fully-equipped mini-apartments. These accommodations provide a welcoming retreat for visitors to explore the beauty of Alto Piemonte while enjoying the comfort and independence of a home-like stay.

Roccolo Mezzomerico is a historic winery located in Mezzomerico, dating back to medieval times when the land was used to cultivate Nebbiolo. Today, the Gelmini family, with a long winemaking tradition, manages the estate. Spanning 8 hectares on a hilltop 300 meters above sea level, the vineyard focuses on sustainable practices, growing Nebbiolo, Bonarda Novarese, Vespolina, Erbaluce, and Chardonnay. The estate’s deep connection to the land and respect for the environment results in exceptional DOC wines.
