Cantina Giuseppe Sedilesu
(Winery in Nuoro)
Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €90.00
Cantina Giuseppe Sedilesu is a family-run winery founded by Giuseppe and Grazia, and today it is managed by their three children and their families. The winery was established 40 years ago with the purchase of their first hectare of vineyard in Mamoiada, Sardinia. Initially, the family produced and sold bulk wine to nearby villages. In 2000, when the children took over the business, they decided to bottle and label their Cannonau, curious to see if the same flavors and aromas they had grown up with would be appreciated by the broader wine market.
The decision proved successful, and over the next decade, the family doubled its wine production and expanded their cellar facilities. Today, they are active members of the local wine community, participating in initiatives like the Mamoiada Winemakers Association (Mamojà) and the Consorzio di Tutela del DOC Cannonau di Sardegna, a cooperative aimed at protecting the DOC Cannonau brand. The family is also involved in developing wine tourism through projects like La Strada del Vino Cannonau, bringing greater attention to their heritage and the unique terroir of Sardinia.
Cantina Gebelias
(Winery in Nuoro)
Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €20.00
Tenute Gebelias, founded in the early 20th century, has a long history of producing high-quality wines in Barisardo, Sardinia. The winery's vineyards, located at 250 meters altitude, benefit from the constant sea breeze and rich "trocco" soil, ideal for cultivating Cannonau and Vermentino grapes. Their Battaglie Line features wines like Karam (Cannonau), Amistral (Vermentino), and Riak (Cannonau Rosé), known for their Mediterranean herb and fruit aromas. The Gebel Line includes Gebel, a blend with a complex bouquet of vanilla and cinnamon, and its counterpart, Gebel’s spirit grappa, which carries spicy and balsamic notes. This attention to detail and respect for the land results in wines that uniquely reflect their terroir, offering a harmonious blend of tradition and nature.
Tenute Gebelias' commitment to preserving the natural environment is evident through their focus on sustainable viticulture, ensuring their wines maintain authentic and distinct qualities.
"Gebel" Line:
The Gebel, symbol of the winery, our blend. All grapes come from the vineyard located on the hills close to Barisardo upland. A wine that shows itself with an intense and lasting bouquet with vanilla and cinnamon aromas, and with a strong memory of Mediterranean scrub. Softness and elegance are the typical characters of this wine. From Cannonau grape marc of this wine arises Gebel’s spirit grappa, with an elegant and sensual bouquet and strong, spicy, balsamic notes which are characteristic of that variety.

Teularju
(Winery in Nuoro)
Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €40.00
Teularju winery is located in Mamoiada, central Sardinia (Italy), run by Francesco Sedilesu, his three sons, and their families. After more than twenty years of experience in the world of wine, in 2017, with the planting of the vineyard in Teularju (8 hectares), the family decided to create a new company. In 2019 they bottled the first two red wines made by the two "Ghirada" (it means Cru in the Sardinian language) Ocruarana and Caragonare. All the wines are obtained from the Teularju vineyard and cultivated totally with Cannonau grapes in organic and by spontaneous fermentation.
Our philosophy is based on producing wines with a strong territorial character, therefore we carefully cultivate the vineyard to have living soil and healthy plants. In the cellar, we try to work the wine gently, without the use of adjuvants (only low quantities of sulfites), to obtain authentic and elegant wines.
Cantina Del Mandrolisai
(Winery in Nuoro)
Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €25.00
The Cantina del Mandrolisai is located in Sorgono, a village in the Mandrolisai area, in the center of Sardinia, an area with a strong vocation for agriculture, with cultivars such as Cannonau, Monica and Muristellu, which produce full-bodied, deep red wines with great personality, perfectly embodying the spirit of this land.
The winery takes its name from the Mandrolisai region, one of the most inland regions of Sardinia and one of the most famous of the island's traditional wine-producing areas. The wine vocation of Mandrolisai comes from its particular geographical characteristics, with high hillside soils, sunny and magnificently exposed. The climate, characterized by little rain and a long summer, also contributes to the success of the wines, guaranteeing the perfect ripening of the grapes even in the coolest years.
The traditional quality and uniqueness of the area's wines have led to Mandrolisai becoming one of the Sardinian DOC wines. The Cantina Sociale del Mandrolisai today produces a range of mainly red wines, but also white and rosé wines. The wines are clearly distinguished by their structure, some of which are matured for a long time in oak barrels.

Fradiles Viniviticola
(Winery in Nuoro)
Fradiles, ‘cousins’ in the Sardinian language, is founded in the Sardinian town of Atzara, where the craft of winemaking is rooted since ages. Our winery, originated as a revival of an old family firm, springs from the passion for the traditions and culture of vineyard farming and winemaking. Our winery is located in the proximity of the vineyards, allowing us to have the hand-picked harvest immediately followed by vinification. This is the place where our passions merge into a wine that stands out for its Denominazione di Origine Controllata “Mandrolisai”, the name of its territory.
Our winemaking endeavours to recuperate and safeguard our viticultural heredity under severe quality standards, producing wines that are both elegant in their simplicity and of superior quality because our vinification procedures are effectively tied to traditions that brought forth a wine with an unmistakeable character.
We recur to the customs of the past to catch the soul of our region in our wines.
VITIVINICOLA AMAR Società Agricola
(Winery in Nuoro)
Vitivinicola Amar is an entirely certified organic company. The owners have chosen simple, authentic, and respectful agriculture, to protect biodiversity in the area and maintain the balance that characterizes an environment that is still uncontaminated, in a perfect combination of men, animals, and plants.
We are in Mandrolisai, the geographical and cultural center of Sardinia, an intact territory, full of archaeological sites but also of humanity, one of the few territories in Italy to have obtained the important and exclusive recognition of "Traditional Rural Landscape of Historical Interest". It represents the place of historical perseverance of mythical and immemorial heroic viticulture, made up of sacrifices and everyday life, habits, and customs. Wines are born from an act of love for life and nature, from love for the wisdom of an ancient land where wine, like bread, has always been first of all nourishment for the body and the spirit.
The vineyards of Serratzargiu in Sorgono and of Genn'e Ilixi in Meana Sardo are very ancient, handed down, conducted, and replanted several times over the centuries, always present with their stories, narratives, and vicissitudes. Serratzargiu is a place of vineyards, pastures, and oak groves adjacent to the rural Sanctuary of San Mauro, the medieval home of an important monastery of Benedictine monks, who, with wise intuition and handed down experience, identified the places where the vineyards gave quality grapes and they were less prone to disease.
Genn'e Ilixi is a splendid hilly town next to the imposing archaeological site of Nuraghe Nolza, bordered by the suggestive nineteenth-century railway line of the Trenino Verde. Walking through the vineyards of the company you come across what appears as a great mess of herbs and flowers growing in all directions, insects and fru
cantina MuggittuBoeli
(Winery in Nuoro)
I am Mattia Muggittu and I am 23 years old and since I was a child I have been fascinated by the world of viticulture and in 2018 I decided to enroll in the faculty of oenology in Oristano, to take the title of oenologist. My passion for enology and viticulture was basically transmitted to me by my father, despite coming from a family of great winemakers, as I was in Mamoiada, a small town in the center of Sardinia, with a strong vocation for viticulture.
My father has always produced a good wine, but one that didn't go beyond the local cask market. In 2021 I decided to bottle wine for the first time, trying to turn a simple hobby into my main job.
Currently my company is made up of 5 hectares of Cannonau, divided into small plots of land, which allow me to produce a complex product that reflects the characteristics of the cannonau.
I practice organic viticulture, with total respect for the terroir and spontaneous fermentations of win; the vineyards range from 20 years of age, to a vineyard that is more than 70 years old up to a vineyard that is just one year old. They are located at 750msl, with a crumbling granite ground.
