5 Delicious white & red wines (Lisa)Because of the extreme heat, we didn’t walk around outside too much, but we were able to see a few pretty vistas & the rows of vines that were carefully maintained by hand. The white and red wines were perfectly balanced and delicious and we enjoyed the meats, cheeses & bread that accompanied the tasting. I highly recommend a visit to Carbognano Winery!

5 Wine, art, and music (Børge)Even though it was pouring down with rain, we were taken well care of. The staff is passionate and knowledgeable about their craft, and we were given an intimate and thorough walkthrough of the winemaking process. The facilities are excellent, and Tenuta Mara is a different experience than other vineyards. The seamless integration of both modern and classic art hanging on the walls, as well as Mozart playing in the background gives a whole new edge to the visit. A fantastic experience that I would recommend to everyone!

3 Pleasant experience (Debora)We decided to do this tasting at the beginning of our short stay in Romagna to start delving into the discovery of local wines. Francesco, one of the three brother-owners, welcomed us very warmly, and in a simple but detailed way told us about the winemaking business, the family history, and the anecdotes that have tied them together for a few generations. Later, we sat down in the tasting room and tasted four wines; while Francesco explained their characteristics and peculiarities, we accompanied everything with some bread and oil (also their own production), salami, and cheese. It was a simple but absolutely pleasant experience.

The explanation was accurate and enthusiastic. We continued with the tasting at their home. The host first guided us through the vineyard, explaining the story behind the estate, its peculiarities, and answering every question. Afterward, he had us choose between four wines, each accompanied by a brief introduction, by Tuscan bread and oil of their own production, and by some chatter. Very nice and genuine hosts, authentically rooted in the territory. We will be back!

5 Wonderful experience (Ivana & Erich )Ornella and Marco welcomed us into their splendid home, showed us the vineyard and told us all about the passion that led them to create their company. A small agriturismo with a pool and cellar in the cool of the hills, 20 minutes from Riccione, a true oasis of peace and tranquility. We tasted some excellent wines (Trebbiano, Sangiovese, and another) accompanied by a beautiful board of cured meats and cheeses and a picnic basket of excellent things, cheered by the warm company of the Romagnoli owners. What can I say, definitely an experience to repeat. Until next time. Thanks guys.
