ADRIANO MARCO E VITTORIO

Adriano Marco e Vittorio winery is located in the heart of the Langhe, in the San Rocco Seno d’Elvio area near Alba. This family-run estate has deep roots dating back to the early 20th century, when the Adriano family began working the land as sharecroppers. The modern winery was developed from the 1960s onwards by Aldo Adriano, and later expanded by his sons Marco and Vittorio, who began vinifying and bottling their own wines in the 1990s.

Today, the estate covers around 50 hectares, including 30 hectares of vineyards, alongside hazelnut groves and woodland. As members of the FIVI (Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers), the family follows a philosophy based on producing wines exclusively from their own grapes. Strong attention is given to vineyard work, carried out without the use of chemicals or pesticides, with the belief that wine quality is primarily determined in the field. The winery itself is organized to follow every stage of production, from vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to ageing in large Slavonian oak barrels and bottle refinement in underground cellars. Visitors can also explore a small museum of traditional farming tools and a contemporary art exhibition dedicated to the theme “Venere e Bacco.”

The winery produces a range of traditional wines that faithfully reflect the Langhe terroir. The portfolio includes prestigious appellations such as Barbaresco DOCG, alongside Barbera d’Alba DOC and Dolcetto d’Alba DOC, which express the classic character of the region’s red wines.

Nebbiolo is also interpreted through Langhe DOC Nebbiolo, while other varieties such as Freisa and Sauvignon Blanc are produced under the Langhe DOC denomination. The range is completed by Moscato d’Asti DOCG, offering a more aromatic and approachable style.

All wines are crafted with a traditional approach, emphasizing authenticity, balance, and a strong connection to the territory, in line with the family’s philosophy of minimal intervention and respect for nature.
