Antica Cantina Leonardi is a historic family-run winery in Montefiascone, overlooking the volcanic landscape of Lake Bolsena. Founded in 1910 and now led by the fourth generation, the Leonardi family combines deep roots, passion for the land and a contemporary vision of winemaking. Ancient caves carved into volcanic tuff, cool and naturally humid, offer the perfect environment for aging wines that express the character of the Lazio region: mineral, vibrant and authentic.

Every bottle is the result of a long relationship between people, territory and tradition. Riccardo and Emanuele — today the heart of the winery — welcome visitors into a world where craftsmanship, history and hospitality come together. At Antica Cantina Leonardi, every wine is shaped by the volcanic terroir of Montefiascone and by over a century of family passion. Our vineyards grow on mineral-rich slopes overlooking Lake Bolsena, where native grapes such as Procanico, Roscetto, Malvasia del Lazio and Trebbiano Giallo thrive alongside selected international varieties like Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

Our most iconic expression is Est! Est!! Est!!! di Montefiascone, a historic blend that captures the freshness, brightness and sapidity of Lazio’s volcanic soils. But our range also includes elegant whites, expressive reds and limited-production labels that highlight the character of each grape and the identity of the Tuscia region.

Aged in ancient tuff caves with naturally stable temperature and humidity, our wines develop depth, aroma and balance in a uniquely authentic environment.
