About the Winery
A family winery that has passionately carried on the love for good wine for over twenty years.
Azienda Agricola Sessolo was founded in Fratta di Oderzo, in the “da Boscariol” area — the heart of winegrowing tradition. The old vineyards, planted in the 1960s, required completely manual work, from pruning to harvest. In fact, the grandparents spent their days in the vineyards, carefully carrying out each task to ensure a good harvest for the following year.
Then, in 2003, came a turning point… Technological progress led us to adopt a more precise and refined working method. We built a modern winery, equipped with advanced tools, and expanded the space for wine processing. Today, all stages of production — from harvest to bottling — take place within our facility, as it is essential for us to maintain full control over every step of the process.
Vineyard work is also carried out with respect for and protection of the environment. Our commitment is based on the principle of investing in equipment that reduces the need for chemical products.
Initially, our wine production focused mainly on still wines, but growing market demand led us to develop a range of semi-sparkling and sparkling wines using the Martinotti method.
