Azienda Agricola Boscaini Carlo

Winery in Valpolicella, Amarone, Valpolicella Classica

About the Winery

Azienda Agricola Boscaini Carlo is a family-run winery located in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, Italy. Spanning 14 hectares, the estate overlooks the historic village of San Giorgio Ingannapoltron, renowned for its ancient church and archaeological sites. The winery's legacy began with Carlo Boscaini, who lived to 102 years, producing wine with passion and dedication. Today, his grandsons, Carlo and Mario, continue this tradition, integrating modern techniques while maintaining respect for the land. The vineyards are cultivated using integrated systems with minimal chemical intervention, and all pruning and harvesting are done by hand. The winery produces approximately 60,000 bottles annually, including Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso, Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, and Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG.

Tasted and ate divinely
Tasting for 4 with a tasting of 5 red wines and a platter of cured meats and cheeses. The producer with his nephew are knowledgeable and very friendly making the experience truly pleasant. The panoramic view of the valley covered in vineyards is stunning.

Spectacular
Exceptional winery, everything cared for down to the smallest detail, excellent wines. Their top of the line, the Amarone Riserva, a nectar with 10 years of work before you can drink it! Serious people and very honest prices. Highly recommended, truly, compliments! Tour, explanations, tasting really well done. Thank you.

We picked this winery out at random...
We picked this winery out at random from the tourist map & arrived without making an appointment. Despite this Carlo welcomed us with open arms & spent a long time showing us his wines & explaining the special process used to make Ripasso & Amarone. He even showed us the shed where the newly harvested grapes were drying. Source: google Suzie Lee
