Gianpaolo, Andrea, and Marco Boffa lead Cortino Winery, formerly known as Produttori Dianesi. Founded in the early 1970s, Gianpaolo was one of its original founders. Today, the winery operates as a family-run business in the heart of the Langhe hills, in Diano d'Alba, a town with ancient origins named after the temple dedicated to Diana, the goddess of hunting.

In both vineyard management and winemaking, Cortino Winery combines modern techniques with traditional practices, always respecting nature. The philosophy is simple: those who work the land and craft the wine must first and foremost respect it.

Cortino Winery is deeply rooted in the Dolcetto tradition, producing seven distinct expressions of this emblematic grape: Sorì La Rocca, Sorì Santa Lucia, Diano, Diano without added sulfites, Rosato di Dolcetto, Langhe Dolcetto, and Passito di Dolcetto. Beyond Dolcetto, Cortino Winery embraces the full range of Langhe wines, crafting white varieties such as Arneis, Chardonnay, and Moscato, and reds including Barbera d'Alba, Nebbiolo d'Alba, and Barilat, a historical blend of Barbera, Dolcetto, and Nebbiolo, once known as "Bardonè" by local ancestors.
