Un’esperienza meravigliosa!

Vineyard experience
A family owned winery who are passionate and very open about their family history in wine production. Operating for over 25 years they give their honest assessment of their early years and how they have come through various ups and downs in that period.
The lunch is devised by their mother (I love that) who was at the lunch table and very generous with her cooking knowledge, so much so that she gave us a recipe to one of the courses.
I would thoroughly recommend visiting this vineyard. Lovely place and lovely people.
My only suggestion would be to provide some transport. We were a group of 6 who were using public transport. With this area being very authentic Italian, taxis may be hard to come across.

A Perfect Wine Tasting Experience
It could be nice to offer a small printed or digital tasting booklet, so guests can take notes and remember the wines they enjoyed most.

About Winery and Wines
Fontefico is a boutique organic winery located in Abruzzo, overlooking the stunning Trabocchi Coast. The estate spans 15 hectares and specializes in cultivating native varieties like Pecorino, Trebbiano, and Montepulciano. Each wine is crafted from a single vineyard, reflecting the unique identity of the terroir. Fontefico’s philosophy focuses on sustainability and authenticity, with fresh and saline winds from the Adriatic Sea enriching the vines, producing mineral-driven wines with structure and longevity.
Fontefico's organic wines are known for their strong connection to the terroir, with each bottle telling the story of its vineyard. Their Pecorino Superiore, for instance, reflects the wild nature of the vineyard, while Trebbiano Superiore captures the respect for Abruzzo’s rich viticulture. The winery’s focus on native grapes results in wines with distinctive minerality, savory flavors, and impressive aging potential, all crafted with meticulous care from hand-harvested grapes and sustainable methods.
