3 Lack of information (Andrew)It would have been helpful to receive more information. Event time was listed as 7pm but was actually 7.30pm. Event was actually a “White Party” but we were not made aware that there was a dress code. Food was delicious. Live music started after 10pm. Lovely setting in the olive grove.

5 Excellent wine tour and tasting (Elizabeth)We had a lovely afternoon att Mazzarosa which is just outside Rosetto degli Abruzzo. Our guide was very helpful in explaining the history of the winery. At the last minute we changed our package from the picnic to the wine tasting itself and we enjoyed a selection of wines paired with food it was lovely to be able to do this without a car as we simply took a taxi from Rosetto. I would recommend this experience.

5 Perfect! (Danny)Our wine tasting with Tomasso at Terzini was amazing - the best we’ve had in Tocco so far! Each wine was presented with its story, alongside great tasting food. Some tasting hosts are reluctant to let guest drink more than their glass, with Tomasso encouraged this and it was super clear that he and everyone in the operation are so so proud of their products - incredible wine with very friendly hosts, would recommend!

5 An excellent experience.. (John)From the time we got there to the minute we departed, it was an inviting, informative and entertaining experience. Our host, Alicia, was absolutely fantastic. She was patient, very knowledgeable...,and her understanding of the english language was impressive. The winery, established in the mid 1800's, has SO much history in terms of the production and storage of wine. The founder was a master innovator. You can better appreciate it's transformation into a modern wine making operation.. The tasting room was set up beautifully, and the process of pairing wines with cheeses, meats and breads was definitely one of the highlights. The winery is in located in a beautiful area of the region with views of the olive groves and vineyard. The experience surpassed expectations. Thank you, Cantina Mazzarosa!

5 Awe Inspiring Tour and Tasting (Lars)There were 4 of us for our tour and wine tasting. Our guide and resident Sommelier, Carla, was extremely well versed in the growing and processing of grapes to make the excellent wines we tried. She was also a wealth of local historic information and tied it seamlessly into the wines. We were totally mesmerized by the way Carla presented all the information that we absorbed like sponges. The food she served us complimented the wines perfectly. By the time we were finished, we were full, happy and thankful for our designated driver. Several of us made purchases to take home to (maybe) share with our friends and family. The only regret is their wine isn't yet widely available for purchase. Having been to dozens of wine tours and tastings, this one occupies the number one slot on my list. It was the best!

5 Vineyard experience (John)An excellent education in wine production paired with a beautiful, traditional lunch. A family owned winery who are passionate and very open about their family history in wine production. Operating for over 25 years they give their honest assessment of their early years and how they have come through various ups and downs in that period. The lunch is devised by their mother (I love that) who was at the lunch table and very generous with her cooking knowledge, so much so that she gave us a recipe to one of the courses. I would thoroughly recommend visiting this vineyard. Lovely place and lovely people.

5 Great wine tasting experience (Ana Maria)Gabriela was waiting for us, she started with a tour of the vineyards, gave us a detailed explanation of the different grapes. Later she showed us all the process for making the wine. We finished with the wine tasting accompanying with great cheese, olive oil and other local specialties. I recommend this tour 100%. 5 Wine Tasting for the 1st time! (Maria-Grazia)There were 3 of us visiting the winery for wine tasting and with only us the group, the experience felt very personal and special. Sara our guide was lovely and knowledgeable. She made each wine she descibed very interesting with how it was made and which food best go with it. We all had many questions which she answered confidently.. We live in England but my family are from Abruzzo and my father makes wine ever year importing grapes from the Montepulciano range. His red wine is excellent, particularly with a meal, but it was fabulous to taste various wines from the region and find out how they were made using different methods giving it particular tastes. It was also interesting to learn of the history of the cantina. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyed and I will be recommending Cantina Mazzarosa to others. In fact we have plans to return with 2 other parties staying at our B&B this summer.

There were 6 of us for the tour …me and my husband in English ; 4 others rather clause locals in Italian but Nicola was great in communicating to us in both English and Italian ..tge wines were wonderful. We had a chance to speak to Nicola’s mother …what a lovely person …she shared her recipe for the cheese balls they served with me …their wines were great … their hospitality was amazing and the grounds are beautiful ….we arrived a little early at 11 because I was afraid we might get lost which we did not …and we didn’t leave until around 3…we were chatting with Nicola’s mother was over an hour! Thank you for arranging the wonderful experience!

It was a wonderful experience thanks also to Gabriella, who told us the whole family history and showed us the vineyard, the cellar, and dulcis in fundo prepared glasses of wine to taste with cold cuts and cheeses. We also met Riccardo and his wonderful baby... Super kind and helpful people. Wonderful and peaceful place... with lots of greenery and so much peace... I strongly recommend trying this experience...

5 Excellent experience, absolutely worth repeating (Francesca)We spent a wonderful afternoon at this estate and can only recommend it. A truly special welcome from Mrs. Carla, super kind, helpful, and passionate. Despite the heat, she accompanied us to discover the history of the winery, telling us every detail with passion. We tasted several wines, accompanied by excellent local products, and took a wonderful tour through the vineyards, where we also tasted the bunches of grapes directly. We then visited all the rooms dedicated to the production and fermentation of wine, discovering up close how it is made and processed. To make everything even more beautiful was the landscape: truly stunning and evocative. An authentic, pleasant, and interesting experience, made even more special by the passion and hospitality of Mrs. Carla. Absolutely recommended!
