The farm “Fuocomuorto” is located in Herculaneum, province of Naples , in the district of Contrada Croce dei Monti , climbing on the slopes of Vesuvius at a height of 350/400 meters above sea level , right in the Vesuvius National Park also located at Herculaneum at the feet of Vesuvius in the Gulf of Naples. The farm covers 2.5 hectares of land, of which 1.5 acres to vineyard and 1 hectare to olive grove. A half acre of land that stretches over several terraces obtained by carrying out building works that allow virtually constant exposure to the sun throughout the day, is allocated to viticulture. It is therefore located at the average of the hill at the feet of Vesuvius at Herculaneum in the Gulf of Naples characterized by mild climate, well-aired , without accumulation of moisture in spring and summer, with volcanic soils , well-structured, with the right degree of insolation and rainfall . They grow the two grape varieties that are typical of the Vesuvius area and which are included in the specification of the production of wine "Vesuvio DOC " Caprettone for Lachryma christi white and Piedirosso for Lachryma christi red. The process of transformation affects only the grapes produced in the farm and takes place in suitable premises , and the preservation and maturation of the wine in bottles happens in a natural cave , carved underneath a slab of volcanic rock in 4/5 meters depth, where the temperature and humidity are nearly constant throughout the year, built in 1780. In the farm there is also a bed and breakfast located in Herculaneum at the feet of Mount Vesuvius in the Gulf of Naples that can lodge 6 people in three bedrooms with a bathroom and kitchen. There is also a tasting room to assay their wines.

We produce : LACRYMA CHRISTI WHITE DOC; LACRYMA CHRISTI RED DOC; LACRYMA CHRISTI RED DOC barrique; Caprettone IGT POMPEIANO. In addition, a hectare of olive grove with over 400 olive trees where half of them are ultra secular of Itrana variety (commonly known as the Olive of Gaeta ) where we produce extra virgin olive oil that we label as according to law, in bottles of 250 ml or 500 ml and that are saled only in the point of sale of the farm located in Herculaneum at the feet of the Vesuvius in the Gulf of Naples.
