Borratella

Borratella is a family-owned winery and vineyard, led by a dynamic and young team that blends the traditions of Chianti Classico with innovative practices in both the vineyard and winery. Located on a 5.75-hectare estate registered under the D.O.C.G. of Chianti Classico, Borratella has a state-of-the-art cellar built in 2000 and is equipped to produce high-quality wines. Borratella is located in a very specific "area": the wineyards are completely surrounded by the wood so that during the night is created a special microclimate and the temperature range growes and in the dry periods of the Tuscan summer the grapes are particularly fresh and acid.

In 2020, Borratella introduced its own production, including the Chianti Classico Insuella D.O.C.G. 2020, Chianti Classico Riserva Pietraia D.O.C.G. 2017, and YARO – Rosso di Toscana I.G.T. 2017. These wines are unique, elegant, and refined, reflecting the passion and innovative ideas of the team. With an annual production potential of up to 40,000 bottles, Borratella focuses on quality over quantity, offering wines that embody the terroir, culture, and passion for Tuscan and Italian typicity.
