Champagne BLAISE LOURDEZ

Bruno Blaise, a winemaker for 30 years, succeeded his father, his grandfather... in short, the fifth generation of winemakers. He is passionate about vines and wine. He makes his own wines and blends. He created the Louis François cuvée in 1996. Isabelle Blaise joined the adventure and welcomes you to her garden, a champagne bar, all summer long, a relaxing place to enjoy a glass of champagne. She offers cellar tours to explain the work of an independent winemaker. She created the Charme cuvée in 2002. Antoine Blaise, their son, has completed his viticulture studies. He is passionate about wine and enjoys sharing his knowledge with visitors. He has developed a new winemaking method: using an ovoid concrete tank. He created the L'Ové cuvée in 2020.

Pinot Meunier is the flagship grape variety of the Marne Valley. In France, it is only found in Champagne. Its distinctive characteristic is that it produces a fruity and well-rounded Champagne. When it comes from an old vine, with very ripe grapes at harvest, like our Nature cuvée, it can be made with zero dosage, meaning no added sugar. This single-vineyard cuvée comes from a vineyard planted by Isabelle's grandmother 65 years ago. Facing south, the view next to this plot is magnificent at sunset. Isabelle has created a space to enjoy it. This cuvée is exceptional and rare.

Our Chardonnay: In the low-mineral soil of our valley, the Chardonnay grape variety can express itself freely. It is very fragrant and fruity. We wanted to select a few Chardonnay plots in Damery to create two of our remarkable cuvées: Charme and Charme Ambrée. After more than six years of aging, our Blanc de Blancs offers aromas of brioche. And we dared to blend this Chardonnay with a touch of red wine to offer you a rare, slightly amber-hued cuvée with complex aromas.
