Château de Poncié is one of the most historic and emblematic estates in the Beaujolais region, with a heritage spanning more than 1,000 years. The first written records of the estate date back to 949, making it one of the oldest wine properties in France. Over the centuries, Château de Poncié has remained deeply connected to its land, evolving while preserving its remarkable history and identity.

Today, the estate extends across 100 hectares, including 27 hectares of vineyards, and is fully committed to sustainable agriculture. The vineyards are cultivated according to organic farming principles, complemented by agroforestry and vine-pastoralism practices that promote biodiversity and environmental balance. Visitors can explore the estate through guided walks across vineyards and woodland, discovering the natural richness of the property and the unique terroir of Fleurie.

The portfolio includes the renowned Fleurie, celebrated for its finesse and floral character, as well as Beaujolais-Villages Blanc, which highlights the freshness and elegance of Chardonnay grown in Beaujolais. The collection has recently expanded to include Côte de Brouilly, offering a richer and more structured interpretation of the Gamay grape.
