Clementi

Clementi is a family winery in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, founded by our father Pietro in 1969, and on our 14 hectares. We create a small production of traditional Valpolicella wines: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, Ripasso Classico Superiore, Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Valpolicella Classico and Recioto DOCG. All our wines feature the five native and classical grape varieties of Valpolicella: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, and Oseleta.

The quality of our wines is helped by the excellent location of our fields, on the hills at 300/400 mt a.s.l., where grapes grow and mature in an ideal setting: the soil, the sun, the gentle climate. Our wines are produced in the very traditional methods of the Valpolicella Classica, from the vineyards to the bottles, and are refined in Slavonia oak barrels to reach the right balance of flavors and scents, preserving and exalting the intense full-bodied aromas of the fruits, herbs, and spices of our land. Our production, of 30.000 bottles per year, follows the rules of the sustainable SQNPI of Consorzio Tutela Vini Valpolicella. Our winery is a member of FIVI (Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti).

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico: Deep ruby red, intense color, with a bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, cherry jam, marasca plum and dried fruits, and a scent of spices, cinnamon and nutmeg. For its unique flavours, it is considered a “meditation wine”.

Ripasso Superiore: has a deep red color, rich of complex scents of wild flowers and red fruits, a velvety bouquet of cherries, plums, vanilla. It is perfect for risottos, meat dishes, aged cheeses.

Superiore Classico: a dry, tasty wine with a garnet red color, a bouquet of pear and red fruits, cherries, and a scent of vanilla. The clean taste makes it a very drinkable wine, and easy to love.

Vaplicella Classico: it has a light ruby color with a bouquet of fresh red fruits, cherries, and a scent of hill flowers and spices. Light and ry, pleasant in the mouth, his clean taste makes it a very lovely and easy to drink wine.

Recioto della Valpolicella Classica: Deep purple, intense color, with a bouquet of red and black fruits, maraschino cherry, and a scent of spices, a full body sweet wine with balance and captivating delicacy.
