About Winery and Wines
Coca i Fitó is a small family winery founded by brothers Toni and Miquel Coca i Fitó. Everything began in 2006 in the Montsant wine region. After nearly 14 years of hard work, the wines produced by this winery have gained recognition in the restaurant scene thanks to their unique character. Each wine is like a small snapshot of the landscape where it’s made.
The journey began in the Montsant wine region with the production of red wines (mainly red Grenache, carignan, Syrah...), but soon after, they also started making white Grenache wines in the Terra Alta wine region. The curiosity and passion of these two entrepreneurs – deeply in love with wine, land, and diversity – have led them, over time, to collaborate with other winemaking colleagues on shared projects in other appellations such as Empordà, Priorat, and Ribeira Sacra.
Today, with more than twenty small-production wines, including whites, reds, rosés, sweet wines, organic wines, sulfite-free wines, vermouth, and Extra virgin olive oil, they offer a vivid reflection of the quality of wines crafted along the Mediterranean.
The Mediterranean is the geographical, climatic, viticultural, and cultural area that shapes the character of all our wines. Within this mosaic of Mediterranean landscapes, the vastness of the Serra de Llaberia, the height of La Mola, the distant calm of Els Ports, and the rolling silhouettes of the Priorat set the stage for Coca i Fitó's wines within the Montsant wine region. Moreover, driven by the desire to craft unique white wines with a distinctly Mediterranean personality, the estate also produces Garnacha and Macabeo under the Terra Alta wine region.
