Fattoria di Corsignano

Fattoria di Corsignano is a 22-hectare organic winery located in the heart of Tuscany, in the territory of Chianti Classico, in Castelnuovo Berardenga.

Seven hectares of the property are devoted to the production of wine, which is around 40 thousand bottles per year. One hectare is instead reserved for the production of an extra virgin olive oil from the local varieties of Frantoio and Leccino.

We are a family-run business, and since 1988, we have lived and cultivated the lands of Fattoria di Corsignano directly following all the phases of the work, from the agronomic management of the vineyards to the cellar, from the grape harvest to the bottle. An attention that expresses a ``green`` thought of sustainability, care for details, and respect for the soil and love for the Tuscan land in the superb expressions that Sangiovese vine can give.

Fattoria di Corsignano is also an agriturismo located in the heart of Tuscany, in the Chianti Classico wine region. It is an ideal place to enjoy your holidays in the green Tuscan countryside, and also a strategic starting point to visit the main cities of art in the region and the surrounding area, full of suggestions.

Fattoria di Corsignano produces 40,000 bottles of Chianti Classico DOCG, Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, Rosso Toscana IGT, Rosato Toscana IGT, Vin Santo and Grappa di Chianti Classico.

Our Chianti Classico speaks the language of this territory, which has always been dedicated to quality winemaking and strongly linked to the city of Siena, and fully expresses its tradition.

The wines of Fattoria di Corsignano have among their main characteristics elegance, a pleasing sapidity, and a long persistence. Their convivial nature allows the appreciation of the surprising complexity and continuous evolution in the glass.

The labels of the wines of the Fattoria were thought out and designed to fit each wine. Mario Gambedotti was a Marche artist and xylograph of extreme finesse: to him, we owe the labels of our wines. Some represent the Tarot Cards, such as L’IMPERATORE, L’IMPERATRICE, LA LUNA, GLI SPOSI, LA FORZA; others represent the simple country lifestyle, such as LA COPPIA and LEVITATE.

The first label that identified the original Chianti Classico of the Fattoria (now Rosso Toscana IGT), designed by Eugenio Comencini, architect and painter from Liguria, but from Turin by choice, is an exception. The label represents the patriarchal family in a refined play of colors, the hallmark of his art.
