The Winery The vines are between 300–450 meters (1,000ft–1,500ft) above sea level. This location provides a large diurnal range, giving the wines both more  elegance and freshness. The 50 hectares of vineyards were planted in spring of 2000. Before planting the vines, Tolaini conducted a “zonation,”  evaluating which grape varieties would grow best in each respective microclimate, the zonation considered soil type, drainage and exposure. Grape varieties that were best suited to each area were then planted. The intention at Tolaini is to find the perfect synthesis between old and new. Respecting the land by farming sustainably and organically and then maintaining tradition in our winemaking process, while also using more modern techniques, like our optical sorting machine at harvest. Our philosophy is to grow the best grapes because you cannot make a great wine from mediocre grapes. Our goal is to make wines that reflect the great terroir of Castelnuovo Berardenga.  The Etruscans lived in central Tuscany over 2000 years ago. The Tolaini logo “Y” is an Etruscan letter “T” chosen as a tribute to these historical  inhabitants and is sculpted into a 3-meter-high rock that stands at the front gate of the winery.

The Bindi Sergardi family has been producing wine since 1349, spanning 23 generations. Located in the heart of Siena, the family manages three estates: Mocenni, I Colli, and Marcianella. At Tenuta Mocenni, just north of Siena, visitors can enjoy private wine tastings amidst unspoiled nature, with views of Siena and San Gimignano. Each tour includes a history of the family, a visit to the cellar, and tastings of their exceptional, limited-production wines.

Nestled in the picturesque region of Chianti, in Montebenichi nella Valdambra, Villa La Selva stands as a testament to centuries of history and tradition. Originally an estate of the illustrious Florentine Medici family, who were powerful patrons of culture, art, and religion since the early 1400s, the villa's storied past adds a unique richness to its present-day endeavors. Once a watchtower on the border between the rival city-states of Siena and Florence, the Medici family later transformed Villa La Selva into an agricultural haven, laying the foundation for its esteemed viticultural heritage. The Chianti region, renowned for its exceptional soil characteristics, imparts a natural balance to the wines produced here, and Villa La Selva is no exception. Benefiting from the area's distinctive climatic conditions, the vineyards yield wines that are a true expression of their terroir. The Carpini family, the latest in a long lineage of proprietors, acquired Villa La Selva in 1957. It was in 1988 that Sergio Carpini embarked on a transformative journey, reshaping the winemaking business with high-density cultivations with the same fervor that marked also his background as a successful fabric designer and textile industrialist.   With the arrival of his daughter Guya and especially her husband, Marco Patrizi, Villa La Selva winery once again changed its face. They decided to return to traditional methods of cultivation, embarking on a long period of transformation of their vineyards. Aiming for smaller but higher-quality wines, they reduced the number of grapevines and transitioned to 100% organic production. This project was conceived with the philosophy of making the estate, which hosts clients from all over the world, an authentic environment that respects the beautiful land in which it is located as much as possible.   Today, Villa La Selva produces approximately 40.000 bottles annually. Each bottle encapsulates the legacy of its historic past and the innovative spirit of its current owners, making Villa La Selva a symbol of enduring excellence in the heart of Chianti.      

Fèlsina is a historic winery in Tuscany, founded in 1966 by Domenico Poggiali Fèlsina during a challenging period for Italian viticulture. With a focus on quality and innovation, Domenico invested in a young, passionate team that blended tradition with modern business strategies. The entry of Giuseppe Mazzocolin in the 1970s marked a turning point, bringing commercial growth and international recognition. Under the guidance of Domenico, Giuseppe, and later Giovanni Poggiali, Fèlsina has grown into a symbol of Tuscan excellence, known for its dedication to craftsmanship and cultural respect.

Vallepicciola, located in the heart of Chianti Classico near Castelnuovo Berardenga, Siena, is a vast estate covering 265 hectares. The winery blends tradition with innovation, respecting the environment through sustainable architecture and practices. Our vineyards span 107 hectares, growing both traditional Sangiovese and international varieties like Pinot Nero, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. With carefully selected soils ranging from clay to sandstone, each vine expresses the unique terroir of the region, producing wines that honor our land’s natural beauty and history.

Agriturismo Amina is a family-run organic farm and winery located in the heart of Tuscany’s Chianti Classico region, near the town of Corsignano. Owned by Cinzia and her family, the estate spans 6.5 hectares of vineyards, producing Chianti Classico wines. The farm also cultivates 3,000 olive trees, producing extra virgin olive oil. A deep respect for the land led to the farm's transition to organic farming in 2021, ensuring that sustainability and quality are at the core of everything they do. Visitors are welcomed to experience the tranquility of Tuscany, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.

Tenuta Cappellina is an organic winery located at the southern tip of the Chianti Classico region. Surrounded by stunning Tuscan landscapes, the estate sits on south-facing slopes, ideal for growing high-quality grapes. With a strong focus on promoting biodiversity and embracing the natural rhythm of the seasons, Tenuta Cappellina cultivates its vineyards in harmony with nature. Led by a dedicated team and the guidance of renowned winemaker Attilio Pagli, the estate’s philosophy centers on respecting the land and producing wines that reflect the terroir's true essence.

Castello di Bossi spans more than 800 hectares, with 130 hectares dedicated to vineyards. The estate is steeped in history, dating back to 1099, when the first tower was built, with evidence of vineyards from Roman times found in the area. The castle was transformed into a four-sided defensive structure in 1450, which still dominates the landscape today. The property also includes two recently restored consecrated churches. The estate is proud of its commitment to sustainability, being 100% organic and powered entirely by clean energy. 600 hectares of solar panels are naturally cleaned by local sheep, contributing to the estate’s eco-friendly approach. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Tuscan countryside, the rich history of the castle, and the high-quality wines produced here, all while enjoying the warm hospitality of the Castello di Bossi family.

Sought after by the most prestigious noble families of Siena, the Poggio Bonelli estate was run by different owners in the course of the centuries. The property was in the hands of the ancient Spennali family throughout the Middle Ages. Later on, in the second half of the 16th century, Poggio Bonelli was included in the possessions of the prominent Piccolomini family. Throughout the 17th and 18th centuries, the land was probably passed down to the Landucci family by way of dowry or inheritance. The Crocis and the Landuccis together managed the Poggio Bonelli estate until well into the 20th century, finally leaving it to the capable hands of the Real Estate company of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena. The estate is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, in Tuscany. Wine-making traditions – which date back to the sixteenth century – are still deeply rooted in the vineyards of origin of the prestigious wines of the Poggio Bonelli range. The estate, which is owned – together with the Chigi Saracini farms – by Mps Tenimenti SpA, extends over 840 hectares approx., with vineyards covering a surface of 80 ha. The estate also includes a few lovely holiday farmhouses located in two different spots, provided with comfortable apartments and two swimming pools. In addition, the estate incorporates organically grown olive trees which produce an excellent extra-virgin olive oil.

The historical La Casaccia family estate is located in the vicinity of San Gusmè, a small medieval village in the Sienese Chianti area where the territory of the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga borders on the Gaiole in Chianti and Radda territories. The estate which has been owned by the same family for more than three centuries, covers approximately 130 hectares of land, including an overall area of about 19 hectares planted with vines, more than 3 thousand olive trees, woods, pastureland, a small village and the company's headquarters. The numerous vineyards dedicated to the estate's vticultural activities are situated at altitudes varyng between 400 and 500 metres a.s.l., and are aged from 5 to 40 years.

Pacina is a covent that was built in the 10th century, with a long and rich history. Its territory includes vineyards, olive groves, fields and woodlands, stretching across the Chianti region as far as Crete Senesi. Pacina is a small settlement, a place that has always respected nature and its diversity. It houses various habitats and types of forest. A variety of crops is grown, with respect for the soil: the fields are alternately cultivated and left fallow in order to maintain the richness and diversity of the natural ecosystems and the flora and fauna they contain. Grapes, olives, grains and greens, fruits and vegetables,... These are the various crops which give strength, energy and character to this place, instead of the frail homogeneity that comes with monoculture.

Carpineta Fontalpino is a farm and winery that belongs to the Cresti family. Traces of wine-making roots in the area date back up to the 19th century, but it was in 1967 that Italo Cresti, Gioia and Filippo’s father, decided to believe in his vocation and turned it into a business, run with love and devotion. The Farm is located in the heart of Tuscany, near the splendid Siena. Not far from our land, the historic Montaperti hill welcomes us in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, Southern outpost of the Chianti Classico denomination. The land we own extends for about 90 hectares (222 acres) that we cultivate with certified organic practices: we grow vines and “Senatore Cappelli” wheat. The vineyards cover an area of 30 hectares (74 acres), with parcels specialized in Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon – as well as other selected varietals, such as Petit Verdot and Alicante. Since we are blessed with a strategic position, near the border of different wine areas, we are able to produce both Chianti Classico and Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, in addition to our Supertuscan IGT.

Originally built in the 14th century, the Villa di Geggiano, its gardens and 18th-century decorations have been carefully renovated and restored. The Bandinelli family continue to manage the Villa and the precious surrounding vineyards, recently opening two luxury guest suites for holiday visitors wanting to savour the real Tuscan lifestyle. The Villa has been declared a National Heritage site of outstanding beauty and, in addition to tours of the Villa and its gardens, there are a range of activities, events and services provided and available to visitors during their stay. A long or short visit to the Villa di Geggiano guarantees enjoyment; whether taking a stroll through the century-old cypresses of the landscaped gardens, dining by candle-light, sampling one of our 40,000 bottles of wine produced each year, playing tennis, horse riding, or exploring the Tuscan countryside by bicycle, balloon or classic car – the choice is yours. The Bianchi Bandinelli family welcome visitors as their personal guests and can reserve an array of exclusive entertainments including wine tastings, cultural events, guided tours, private parties and ceremonies. In nearby Siena, Italy’s classic medieval city, there is an abundance of things to do including the famous Il Palio, a festival and horse race that takes place on the piazza itself and was featured in the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace.

The property extends over a surface area of over 1,100 hectares of land, with around 50 hectares given over to specialised vineyards. The predominant cultivation is that of the Sangiovese grape variety, which is the prevalent base for Chianti Classico wine. The composition of the soil, the inclination of the land, the altitude, exposure to the sun, the ventilation, the particular microclimate and the selection of the grapes are crucial factors in the achievement of the high quality of the Villa a Sesta wines.
