About Winery and Wines

At the beginning of the 20th century my great grandparents arrived from Spain and Italy and bought their first land in Arbis.

At the time, vines were grown alongside wheat and corn. There were pigs and poultry. Then, a few years later, my Grandfather Jesus and my Grandmother Elsa focused mainly on wine growing. They bought new land and renovated the family house by enlarging the cellar. Their children Jean-Pierre and Didier worked with them on the vineyard. Twenty years ago, after Jean-Pierre's death, Didier invested himself in the vineyard, carrying out his work as a civil servant and restructuring the vineyard. He modernised and organised the vineyard while keeping the working techniques that make this vineyard special: the old-fashioned vinification.

2017 was marked by the sudden death of my Grandfather Jesus and my Father Didier. I therefore decided to return to the land of my childhood, with my husband and children, to continue the work of three generations. To learn a trade that was not mine, to rediscover ancestral gestures in order to bring the 2018 vintage into the world... and the next ones! Today, the 4th generation continues the work that has been going on for over 100 years and the 5th generation is already playing in the rows of vines planted by their great-grandparents !

We are one of the few wineries in the Entre-deux-Mers to have so many vintages.

We vinify in the old way, a heritage from the past, we let the wine take on its aromas na aromas naturally. It's a long process, a minimum of 5 years of rest on the lees on the lees, in order to extract a wine for ageing from each vintage.

Bordeaux, Bordeaux Supérieur, Entre deux Mers, Blanc Sec, Moelleux, Haut Benauge, Rosé, Clairet fill our cellar, with vintages from 1993 to 2021.
