Terra Argillosa

Terra Argillosa is a boutique winery located in a small valley in the Marche region, near the Adriatic Sea. Led by Raffaele and Sara, partners in both life and work, the estate represents a new chapter built on rediscovering the true value of time, craftsmanship, and connection to the land.

The vineyards sit at around 180 meters above sea level, with southern and eastern exposure, on compact, clay-rich soils that give the winery its name. Constant sea breezes and a balanced microclimate create ideal conditions for viticulture, while high-density planting enhances grape quality and concentration.

The philosophy of Terra Argillosa is rooted in organic practices, respect for nature, and minimal intervention. The winery embraces the rhythm of the land, combining tradition with a thoughtful, artisanal approach to produce wines that are authentic and deeply expressive of the territory.

Terra Argillosa produces a diverse range of wines that highlight both native and international grape varieties, always with a focus on authenticity and craftsmanship.

The portfolio includes:

Scapolè – Brut sparkling wine, 100% Pecorino, fresh and refined

A Ida – Marche IGT from Incrocio Bruni 54, a rare local cross between Verdicchio and Sauvignon Blanc

Memena – 100% Pecorino, structured and expressive with partial skin contact

Enea – Rosé from Montepulciano, vibrant and characterful

Fiacca – Fresh and youthful red blend based on Montepulciano

Rumà – 100% Montepulciano, complex and structured, aged in oak and bottle

Petì Verdò – Petit Verdot, intense and elegant with oak aging

Syrah – Rich and aromatic, aged in barrique

Fatjà – Blend of Merlot and Cabernet, produced in the best vintages

The wines are crafted through manual harvesting and careful vinification, with fermentations in steel or wood and extended aging when needed. The result is a collection of wines that reflect the identity of the Piceno area—authentic, expressive, and evolving over time.
