Tenuta Barac

Tenuta Barac was established in the 1960s in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, a small village within the town of Alba, at the heart of the Langhe wine region.

Armando Piazzo and Gemma Veglia, young newlyweds from farming families, decided to honor their heritage by investing in the Langhe's unique land.

The estate features a beautiful farmhouse from the early 20th century, which has undergone extensive historical and architectural renovations to reveal its original materials. Today, it offers cozy settings, warm hospitality, and high-quality services in a tranquil environment. Situated about 250 meters above sea level, Cascina Baràc provides guests with some of the most stunning views in the region. The view over the vine-covered hills of the Langhe is particularly enchanting, offering a truly unique experience in a timeless setting where nature, art, history, elegance, and hospitality seamlessly blend together.

The vineyards surrounding Tenuta Barac are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and belong to one of Italy's most celebrated wine regions. The landscape features sun-kissed hills adorned with rows of vines and verdant woods. The natural colors change with the seasons, presenting ever-evolving scenery. Among these vines are born some of the world's most esteemed wines: Barolo and Barbaresco.
