About the Winery
Tenuta Carbognano is a family-run organic winery located in Gemmano, in the heart of Romagna, just a few kilometers from the lively coastal town of Riccione. Founded in 2005 by Ornella and Marco, the estate covers 11 hectares of land, featuring vineyards, wheat fields, olive groves, and natural caves, creating a breathtaking rural landscape.
About the Wines
The winery produces a carefully selected range of red and white wines, with highlights including Sangiovese di Romagna DOC and Syrah. The unique soil composition and the microclimate of the Valle del Conca contribute to the distinct flavors and aromas of these wines. The proximity to the Conca River and surrounding forests further enhances the quality, adding depth and complexity to each vintage.

Delicious white & red wines
Because of the extreme heat, we didn’t walk around outside too much, but we were able to see a few pretty vistas & the rows of vines that were carefully maintained by hand. The white and red wines were perfectly balanced and delicious and we enjoyed the meats, cheeses & bread that accompanied the tasting. I highly recommend a visit to Carbognano Winery!

A very nice and helpful couple welcomed us.
It was a splendid day, so we ventured among the vines.
The explanation was accurate and enthusiastic.
We continued with the tasting at their home.
The family atmosphere welcomed us along with the intense flavor of the various wines and the platters offered.
In short, a 10 out of 10 rating!

A small agriturismo with a pool and cellar in the cool of the hills, 20 minutes from Riccione, a true oasis of peace and tranquility.
We tasted some excellent wines (Trebbiano, Sangiovese, and another) accompanied by a beautiful board of cured meats and cheeses and a picnic basket of excellent things, cheered by the warm company of the Romagnoli owners.
What can I say, definitely an experience to repeat.
