About Winery and Wines

Tenuta Quvestra comprises 12 hectars of land on the hills of Santa Maria della Versa, in the eastern part of the magnificent Oltrepò Pavese. Santa Maria della Versa is the town considered to be the capital of Spumante, the Italian sparkling wine, thanks to its limestone calcareous soil , ideal for the viticulture of the noble Pinot Nero grapes. Our name Quvestra encloses all concepts that are at the foundations of our commitment. We begin with QUality in everything we do, from the start to the pouring of our product. The UVE, grapes, are our priority , every day of the year to which we commit care, dedication and hard work , all rewarded during the harvest. Our name also hints at the French word “cuvée” , used for our Spumante and some of our other wines. VESTRA means “yours” in Latin: we work for your appreciation of our products ( wine and hospitality). Vestra also hints at Versa, the valley where our estate is located. In our vineyard we grow Chardonnay, Croatina, Merlot, Pinot Nero, Barbera, Riesling Renano .

In our vineyard we grow Chardonnay, Croatina, Merlot, Pinot Nero, Barbera, Riesling Renano vines , using the Guyot pruning system. We produce and sell : Red wines : - Bonarda -Sinfonia in Rosso White wines: - Chardonnay -Sinfonia in Bianco Spumante : - Gaudium - Symposium - Zephiro (Rosé) Reserve wines : - Croatina -Merlot -Pinot Nero
