We experienced a rude and unkind service from Tenuta Santoro Wine Bar. We made a late reservation for the next day and were looking forward to experience the vineyard. However in the middle of the night someone broke into our home and stole our rental car making us unable to reach the Tenuta Santoro the next day. We immediately, the same night, tried cancelling our reservation and requested a refund. The next morning we called to follow up on our cancellation, making sure the vinery was informed. The employee we spoke with was very unkind and rude and seemed very annoyed about us calling. We were met with the suggestion to simply just book a driver (we lived almost an hour away) … and on top of that it is not what you want to hear when you just experienced a traumatic burglary in the middle of the night. Obviously we wanted a refund, as we unfortunately wasn’t able to make it, but mostly a little understanding would have been appreciated. So: the vineyard might still be amazing but don’t expect understanding from the staff if you are forced to cancel.

We had a great time at Il Dosso. Matteo was very passionately explaining about his family business, vineyards, wine making and how he is enjoying being a winemaker along with his father.. Thank you

The experience absolutely worth it. It is a small winery with a nice view and very kind people. The wines were very good but also the food was fenomenal made by local ingredients, it is more than a light lunch as it has 3 courses. Recommend to visits :).

we did a wine tasting at il dosso during our holiday and we had a really nice afternoon. The owner talks passionately about his wines, listens to your preferences and chooses the next wine. He was very hospitable and the room made you feel at home. Definitely recommended!
