Wonderful experience
Claudia offers an intimate experience at the winery she owns and runs, showing us the fields, explaining how the grapes differ from one field to the next, taking us to see her aging room and finally offering us an insightful tasting with her wonderful wines and a fabulous charcuterie board. Special thanks go to her husband who somehow volunteered to pick us up at our hotel in Volterra and bring us to the agriturismo. Would love to go back and stay a few days with them.

A memorable evening!
We arrived a little early after a day in Alberobello and were glad of it. We were joined by a lovely wedding party for the tour which was detailed and informative. The tastings were excellent - 6 wines. Favorite - their primitive. The food pairings were good - various Cheeses, cured meats, bread from their wheat, honey from their bbes, jam from their figs. The one negative was that despite communicating in advance about my husband's dietary restrictions - he only eats vegetables n fish - and their assurance that it was fine, every dish had cheese!

Sardinia tasting
We had an entertaining hour with our host Silvano. We were educated regarding the grapes grown at the vineyard. We tasted the vermentino and a couple of aged malvasias. These were accompanied with some cheese and biscuits.
There were a few translation issues that were able to be negotiated.

Eleonora was an absolute joy of a hostess. She picked me up from the bus stop and was very informative and able to answer all my questions about the winery, the wines, and the production process. I was able to sample all the local flavors and quench my thirst. Eleonora took me on a virtual ride through the hills of Bologna and we explored the full body of wines. 10/10 customer service, extremely satisfied.

Excellent visit
Really enjoyed our visit to Freixenet. The tour was interesting, guide Monse was great and extremely knowledgeable. The tasting of the European sparkling wines within the Freixenet group was brilliant. Very generous portions accompanied with appropriate cheese and meats. Would definitely recommend.
