We had a wonderful stay at the beginning July at La Terre d’Or in a lovely cottage overlooking Beaune. The aircon and jacuzzi/plunge pool were much appreciated as it was lovely weather but very hot! Sylvie and Vincent, who took us on the wine tours/tastings were amazing! Knowledgeable, interesting, hospitable and fun. We learned so much about Burgundian culture, history and wine. We hope to return to learn more. We would thoroughly recommend this experience.

We were a group of five people, where three were young adults with little knowledge of wine. Everybody had a great experience, the tour and the tasting was interesting and done by a very friendly guide. The pizza making was fabulous, I definitely leveled up my skills! Again the pizza guy was friendly and very helpful and the pizza we made was really good. The Augustali wines are good and we ended up buying several bottles before we went home. The only thing that could have been better is that it is very difficult to get to the farm. We had to book an expensive taxi ride to get there. A great add on would have been a pick up service to the nearest train station.

This was a beautiful way to spend a morning, I have lived in the area for a while and what a find. Our host Francesca was brilliant. Spoke great English and great detail about the history, process and special features of the region. Very passionate about the area, all the wines tasted were fantastic and now pushy sells as the wine sold it self. Highly recommend and some fantastic views around the vineyard.
