Arriving at the Agriturismo we were welcomed by Gregorio, who accompanied us to see their livestock, passionately telling us their story and the characteristics of the land. They converted to organic by applying biodynamics, obtaining great results. They practice cover cropping with clover to keep the soil moist. For the first fermentation they mostly use very high-quality terracotta amphorae, while for aging they use wooden barrels and steel tanks. The place where we had the tasting also serves as a restaurant and the tasting took place right during dinner, also prepared by Gregorio, who also boasts high-quality gastronomic knowledge: the dishes offered were truly good and very well plated. The wines he offered us, as is right and proper, started with the lighter ones and then increased in body during the dinner with the more structured ones. We started with a '19 rosé sparkling wine from Freisa grapes made with the classic method, but the one offered is sold after resting on the lees (44 months) without disgorgement. Despite this, the wine is incredibly clear and the fruity aromas are well balanced. After this, 1 orange wine, 2 Barberas, 1 Barbera CRU, 1 barrel-aged Pinot Noir from '17, a Freisa from '17 and to conclude, 1 passito wine also vinified in an amphora were served. Forget the usual hour-and-a-half winery visit: here you sit down and are captivated by the friendliness and frankness of the owner and, obviously, by his wines and his story. Not just sparkling wines, but it's also worth tasting his reds, all accompanied by excellent platters with local products. Recommended! Thanks for the wonderful experience

Wonderful experience. Both the owner and his daughter were excellent in the presentation of the wines. Excellent quality wines accompanied by a tasting of cured meats and cheeses. The only flaw, on the Winedering website 8 tastings are described, but at the winery you will receive 7. The winery tour was too short.

The service was excellent, as were the explanations of the wine production processes. The quality of the wines tasted was very good, as was the food. The owners made the experience one of a kind.

We had booked the outdoor picnic experience and winery tour but due to rain they were very kind and offered to change the picnic to the tasting. It was a wonderful experience! During the winery tour, our guide was very kind and explained the entire wine production process to us. Afterwards we had the chance to taste all the wines produced by the winery, as well as delicious oil and honey they produce and other typical local products. During the tasting as well, the guide explained every detail of the wines. An excellent opportunity to spend time with new people, drink and eat very well, all seasoned with the kindness and passion of the staff. At the end of the experience it is also possible to buy their products directly from the on-site shop. We will recommend it to all our friends and will definitely be back!
