The experience was without a doubt very positive. Mr. Carlo came to meet us, welcoming us with a big smile and explaining the history of the territory and its vineyards.
The location is very charming in a quiet and relaxing environment.
The tour in the cellars with Marcello was very interesting.
An attentive and interesting tasting with Marcello, who was very thorough in the explanation of the wines.
Recommended for those who love small producers and the care they put into their products.

Delicious food and delicious wines at very reasonable prices.
The only drawback was not sufficient level of English of the host. Although the wines were described very well (on paper) it was hard to talk about the wine production, ask specific questions etc.

An experience to try... Educational and emotional!
I returned, this time together with my twenty-year-old son!
The visit starts with a historical journey that examines, in parallel, the history of the Montresor family and that of the Verona area.
The room with the historical equipment follows, and then you arrive at the heart of the visit where you fully understand Valpolicella and the world of Amarone.
The emotional experience of the wine aromas and the “passage through the barrel” is evocative.
The tasting is also rich and, in our case, led by Silvia who conveys passion, competence, and a desire to make you understand.

Best vineyard tour we have seen in Campania in two years!!!
The Verrone family has the best vineyard tour we have ever been on! They open up their historical family estate, which is the largest in the Cilento area, and the wines are second to none. We've lived in Campania now for over a year and toured a lot of vineyards, with none of them even comparable to Verrone. Paolo, the owner, and his son were our hosts for two different tours (purchase on Winedering and book in advance). He is extremely knowledgable on the whole process and is steeped in the history of the place. I cannot recommend this tour and meeting the Verrone family enough!

March 2024 - Castello di Meleto visit
We came late for the original 11am appointment we originally booked as we were driving from Florence. Called the winery and still accommodated us for lunch and re-booked us for the next tour. Antipasti and lasagna were amazing and the Chianti wines were superb! We ordered lasagna for the kids for lunch as it wasn’t included in the package but the winery gave them lots of antipasti to enjoy. The restaurant has a great ambiance. Perfect for a small gathering/party.
The tour was short and informative. The lady and gentleman in the restaurant were gracious hosts.
Thumbs up to Castello di Meleto!
