An educational and fun morning
We spent a beautiful morning at the Calatroni winery, not too big but very well-kept.
Our "Virgil" (whose name I don't remember, and I apologize) was perfect; besides the history of the winery and the Oltrepò area, he explained some truly interesting technical aspects of winemaking in a simple way.
A cheerful conclusion with a tasting of the winery's excellent wines, honorable mention for the "Michel" classic method.
We went home with several bottles of excellent wine.

A super experience!
The entire staff was very kind in their welcome and service.
The guide (a young woman) who accompanied us on the short tour of the vineyard and the visit to the cellar was super thorough, thanks also to her evident knowledge on the subject.
Obviously the wine and food (zero-km) were excellent, more than satisfactory for a lunch.
Definitely an experience to repeat.

We chose a small producer to get the most out of the experience. It was the right choice; from the visit to the vineyard to the tasting, we were accompanied by Emanuele's very professional explanations. The wines were so good that we bought a few bottles.
