Fulfilling!!!
Margherita welcomed and guided us through their vineyard, telling us the history of Etna wines and their vines between one tasting and another. We tasted their wines (5 different ones) on the outdoor patio, lulled by a pleasant breeze, looking at Etna and accompanied by excellent small bites of cheese.
A decidedly engaging experience and great wines!

Fantastic Boffday for Mrs H
We had a slight mishap on Our way up to the Winery, thankfully Some Lovely Peeps stopped, then alerted the Winery who joined Us straight away to help Us still enjoy the Wine Tasting experience, a Massive Thanx for waiting for Us before starting the Tour. It was a Very informative Tour and Vatting explanation, We then All started to Taste each of the Wines, I'm not a Wine drinker but really enjoyed attempting them (I usually drink Dark Ales that I Brew myself), Our host was knowledgeable & We enjoyed the Time, We shared Fun and Laughter with Fantastic Company from the USA x
We nearly All bought a few bottles of Our chosen Wines

The Douro Valley was a wonderful discovery, and the tasting at Quinta da Portela de Baixo allowed us to fully experience and appreciate the world of Portuguese wines (in particular Port). The visit to the museum was interesting and the generous wine tasting, accompanied by the friendly and knowledgeable guide Susana, was much appreciated.
